gaggsdreamer, 30 Jun 2011i have a galaxy s and it is a awesome device. I have two qu... more1.) You can get a cable that connects from the phone's 3.5mm jack to any form of output that you may require. You have to understand that because this specific Galaxy does not have an HDMI out, your t.v. will receive the regular picture, and not hi def. Also, depending on where you are in the world, you must choose between pal and ntfs in the setting, display, tv out menu. I use mine almost everyday, and I cannot notice much of a difference.
2.) The batteries are not the same, and of different dimensions.

But then can you kindly explain, how sgs I9003 sc-lcd one which has 512 mb ram and 498 mb is said to be aval for user? (read this stat in early post in this forum only)
So here OS uses so less ram or it uses from other memory aval?
If so then speed wise would there be significant diff between both the phones?

if my phone is connected to wifi, my phone went very slow&lagging...but when i disconnected,,my phone become normal again...y this thing happen?

Go to custoner service center and they will update it.
I Update through kies, failed in 1st attempt but succeeded in the second.

Android is just perfect! If you want something a little bit better take a look at Galaxy S Plus. Exactly the same as Galaxy S but has an 1.4 Ghz proccessor and a 1650 mha battery... Samsung is the best mobile company. In my opinion of course. I hope I helped...!!!

So as 512 mb ram is stated for Galaxy S, then how come you say only 304 / 329 mb dear?

And speaking of windows os, I personally recommend windows 7 over vista and xp. If you still cant resolve the issue then I suggest you manually flash and put the latest but leaked version of gingerbread 2.3.4 in your phone. Just google for it and you will find the pacakge quite easily. Use odin to update . The process is very easy and shouldnt take more than 5 minz. good luck

The update process is easy with odin but again I would like to remind you check and then double check the guidline from xda and carefully proceed with the update.make sure you attach the original data cable with your pc and always connect the cable to the back usb port (if you use desktop pc ) . And there should not be any power interuption . And yes make sure your galaxy s is fully charged. best of luck mate

whether to buy galaxy... moreIf u are heavy multitasker then go for i9003 because it's ram is 478 mb, while
i9000 is having 329 mb, but advantages of i9000 are 16gb internal memory, good for playing videos and most of all the display, but for tight budget i9003 which costs 19 k is not bad.

Whenever i tried to update my SGS through kies for gingerbread a message comes that 'firmware update has stopped working'. I have tried several things, such as change my pc from vista to windows7, factory reset of phone, removing of sim card, re-installing of kies but nothing helped. I use 3g data card for net connection. whether it is the problem? Please help!
