Hi, can anyone tell me if you can use an MP3 as your message tone? I can't seem to work out how to do this. As a ringtone is easy but not as sms tone. I shall be very disappointed if you can only use the awful on board sounds.

Press the Left soft key> Settings> Wireless and Network> Mobile Networks> and tick 'Use packet data'.
On the same page, choose Network Mode and choose GSM/WCDMA (auto mode) to turn 3G on. (It will suck the life out of your battery though).

I don't know why people are claiming that the battery only lasts 4 hours or less, my one lasts on average 3 DAYS between charges; but then I only use the phone for what it was intended - to make calls, send a text, and take the occasional picture.
I NEVER use 3G, (a huge battery drain), and turn 'Background Data' off in the accounts settings as well. I don't use 'Living Wallpaper' either, another battery drain.
Google Maps? What are they? If I want to go somewhere I use the satnav in my car, not my phone.
Scoff if you wish, but I only charge my phone twice a week.

I love the phone but still finding my feet as not had it long. The battery is a let down but I suppose with a screen this big it would struggle... I say that but why? Surely we shouldn't accept half a day with usage? I bought my phone brand new, have fully charged it nightly, yet if in use I only get around 5 hours... Not good. I love angry birds, need to make a app though to rank automatically using online like apple.

the Phone it self is Great got it 1 week ago Battery is Really Bad only lasting 9 or 10 hrs with Battery and android Booster going to take it back and get a refund i guess

There is a problem with battery usage...You need to buy another spare of battery with separate charger if you want to enjoy using your phone... Charging of battery consume 3 hours to make it full, if you don't have spare you need to wait for 3 hours Hahaha haha....Imagine people now can not go without Cell Phone ....Whaaaah ! What about with CP and w/ drain battery ? CRAZY !

Bought one recently and had to give it out, the battery is horrible drains too fast when fully charged my battery drains out under 4 hours

i heard from a no of people that the s2 battery can be used in galaxy s.
But today i laid my hand on the S2. and the battery of 1650 mah of S2 is not compatible with Galaxy S.IT is bigger than Galaxy s's battery.,
What should i do.?>?
Should i purchase the battery of SL.???
