1. with few background running: 171 on RAM
2. Quadrant, i know it doesn't matter: 2050
3. Bug: seems gone but still 2 ppl reported still there. Will have to see for meself.
Think that's it...will report back after some time.

I've just completed downloading the firmware from xda (thru my SGS phone) and plan on flashing the firmware as soon as I get home from the office (well, after I fully charge the phone).

my 2.3.3 update gets stuck up in preparing firmware upgrade components and then window pops up telling the program is not working, and do u want to close it and check for online solution....i am using a 64bit version...is it the problem

I renewed my contract back in February. I picked up the Galaxy S and was impressed... at first. Over the next 3 months I became quite frustrated at the unnecessary lag (for a 1ghz processor) of the OS. I was unhappy with so many apps crashing all the time. Once I even turned it off and then on again and many of the apps after that would simply not run and needed to be redownloaded. The only good things about the camera were the outstanding video quality (audio was average though) and the call quality. I switched to a Nokia N8 which I love.

Android 2.3.4 update now available for the Galaxy S. anyone tried flashing the firmware via kies? hopefully, this will solve the battery drain bug of the 2.3.3 update.

1. Download Samsung KIES from www.samsung .com
2. Connect your SGS and check for updates and it will give you instructions.

Hi I HAD the galaxy s and in my honest opinion it was the wost phone I ever had .... The screen is pathetic ..disgusting resolution I dont care what anyone says I thought it was just plain pixelated, super soft !! never heard it and just plain boring !! my samsung wave2 was a much better phone!!....I now have a samsung galaxy tab best thing ever!!!!

can i Use Galaxy SL battery in my Galaxy s ????
i heard from a no of people that the s2 battery can be used in galaxy s.
But today i laid my hand on the S2. and the battery of 1650 mah of S2 is not compatible with Galaxy S.IT is bigger than Galaxy s's battery.,
What should i do.?>?
Should i purchase the battery of SL.???
