Not the ROM issue but Gingerbread issue itself. Go check Battery Usage and if it shows the the OS take higher than 10% then you got a bug. As for me, now i'm on v10.1 and the battery also sucks so heavily. Will give it some time, anyway.. You can try flshing to 10.1. that might help

I seem to have a few issues with Gingerbreak upgrade in the UK. It is an unbranded phone and never installed custom firmware.
Since the upgrade:
1- It generally feels faster but sometimes opening an application takes for ever, e.g. 10-15 seconds even when few applications are open and there is enough memory.
2- When listening to music for no apparent reason it pauses.
3. Some functions seem to suffer intermittently. When trying to access my voicemail, even though phone app running in the background, I could not bring it to foreground. I could not interact with it at all.
None of these issues were happening with the previous 2.2.1 version
Does anyone else have these or other issues ?
Overall not happy with this upgrade at all.

ruv, 24 May 2011will they update the touchwiz to 4.0...Touchwizz 4 is a Samsung thing like htc sense and cannot be ported,,ive looked round and thats my answer.
To be honest when i get an Android smartphoner i use launcher pro.

I am going for sgs 2 but this is still one of the top smartphones ever built and gets better with Roms.
There are certain thngs you should do before you die and i reckon looking at a super Amoled screen should be one of them..

i9000 user, 23 May 2011is Android 2.3 Gingerbread is already available in the phil... moreI don't see asian 2.3.3 firmwares on SamFirmware.com.
I'm from the Philippines too but I'm using the 2.3.3 JVO firmware (UK)

Tried this phone with froyo updated. The phone become more sh*t compare to its originsl eclair. Hopefully the new gingerbread fits nicely into this phone. Come on samsung, dont give us another crap!!
