I have a new Samsung Galaxy S I9000 ,with Firmware version 2.1-update 1 Iam trying to get Froyo 2.2 download . I download the old and new version of Samung Kies By no luck. Please help

Hey frndz, plz tell me what is difference between symbian & android or i0S? Why android/i0S is better than symbian? I don't know really, bc0z i've never used an android/iphone

Hi guys,
I just solved my problems which I posted earlier, so please don't bother about it. In case, it is a problem of my service provider. They don't have automatic anp setting for this phone so I need to fill these info myself.

Dear,
I got my Galaxy S in yesterday and it looks great except with internet connection problem. When I had try to use internet (search, gps,...) it always gives me an error report__ "cannot connect to internet, please check your connection setting and try again". However if I use wifi everthing works quite normal. I had tried all possible settings which I thought about in mobile networks setting page, but with out luck. I really don't know what to do, please help me with this problem.
My second question was: When I set my phone to factory production I had found my phone was produced for Portugal (interface language was in Portugal) not for Sweden or Denmark and in "about phone" page I had found the "firmware version". is 2.2 with kernal version 2.6.32.9 toot@se-s603#1. So I thought the seller had changed language to Swedish after they upgrade the operating system. According to my understanding, this phone suppose to come with Android 2.1 right? Is my current states is correct and normal?
Please help me?

Just got this phone. It is amazing. Great job by Samsung. The Android UI is customized very good. It feels fast.

It would be great if every phone with "scratch-resistant" display had that expression in the specs, so if one searches for that expression, all of them would be listed. Like iphone 4 and some others. Thanks.

When i am going to capture video with my galaxy S.... after 5 or 6 seconds of capturing videos capturing become stopped and the phone becomes hang.... after some times the massages shows that video failed.... can any one give a solution.. Is it hardware problem or software problem...? my operating system is android 2.1 Eclair.....
I would like to request you to give me suggestions or solutions........

Then u would be able to enable 5.1Ch

To do this go to Settings->Location and Security-> then select change lock screen. Once you enter your existing unlock method (the pattern for example) you'll have the option to set a different unlocking style.

guest, 09 Feb 2011I really want to buy this phone, but I can't find it in my ... moreHey you can use it anywhere as it is a GSM phone so will work with any sim..to install some other firmware other than the stock one u need to root your phone (get administrative privileges) and then use some other softwares to complete the install..but this voids the Samsung 1 year warranty..it's ur choice buddy :)

go to location and security menu on your phone in the setting options. after which go to the change unlock pattern. inside u can choose from various unlock method.

Using this phone for the last 6 months and the experience so far has been fabulous.
Although when I upgraded to froyo, the phone's performance went down drastically but then voodoo lagfix came to my rescue and now am enjoying a performance rating of almost 1400+ on the 'Quadrant Standard'.

I really want to buy this phone, but I can't find it in my town. If I buy it from other country, ex. Singapore, can I use it in my country ?
And about the Android Update 2.2.1 in samfirmware, is it can be use for every country ? Asia, Europe, etc ?

Hi i am an samsung galaxy i9000 user and can anyone tell me how to activate the 5.1 channel in the music player when we do so then the notification appears that first switch off the effects in the music player.
But i cant find anything to switch of the effects in the music player
plz kindly reply to my Question. . .

2.2.1 js5 firmware is out. I'm planning in flashing it into my phone. I'm on speedmod kernel. Do I need to revert back to stock kernel before flashing the 2.2.1 js5 firmware?
