Can someone please send me a link UR... moreDude, go to samsungmobile.com and search for galaxy s. once you select galaxy s, go to the "software" link and you will find the latest available version of kies there (2.XX). If ever you installed the previous version (1.xx) that had problems during uninstallation, also download the kies uninstall software then you can install version 2 of kies. take note that I had to install this version twice because of the uninstallation process of 1.5xxx.

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2011Best browser is Dolphin Available on the MarketUnfortunately Dolphin HD have exactly the same problem when I enter text/comment on many webpages, so it is a problem wiyh 2.2.1 that does not exist when I use 2.2, jpa. Only Skyfire have none of these problems on 2.2.1, but I do not like Skyfire anymore.

Anonymous, 20 Jan 2011I have Froyo 2.2 What is the difference between it and... more2.2.1 is faster and need no lagfix, but I think the browser in jpa, 2.2, is almost as fast but much more stable, no chessboard and the 2.2.1 browser is a pain to use when entering comments on many internetpages when in landscape because the textbox jumps out of the screenview constantly making it impossible to see what I am writing. I am now back to jpa, and with lagfix it is perfect and fast enough for me.

Hi, i just disable voodoo 5 from my SGS, and i'm about to upgrade to 2.2.1(XXJPY) but i just wanna make sure that the voodoo 5 is absolutely erase from my SGS otherwise my SGS will brick when i upgrade it.
So my question is ... How to check whether voodoo is completely disable from my SGS?

Even i didn't trick my kies , when i received official update from kies it will be on European Firmware still, right?

[deleted post]Nope, that news is crap, Samsung's just making way for Nexus S, and another possibility is Galaxy S 2, it's going to be announced in MWC on 13th february, and this is 100% genuine news, Samsung has released posters for the unveiling of Galaxy S 2, Galaxy S and Nexus S were the last of their kind, from now on all big phones will have dual core processors and 1 GB rams, and that includes Galaxy S 2 also, along with Galaxy S 2 a lot of Sony Erricson phones will also be announced in MWC, probably the Xperia Play too, I think I'll drop my plans of buying Galaxy S or Nexus S, cos phones with 1 GB rams are coming up, so I dont want to be left behind with a 512 MB ram ;)
