One thing in Samsung phones is very weird. Lots of samsung phones have atleast 10 hours of talktime and if you think in a logical way it should be also much over 20 hours of mp3 but it's always about 13 hours. So weird. I mean If you look at the iPhone the music play time is so much longer but the talk time is about the same. Nokia with their phone have about 7-12 hours of talk time and have about 20-50 hours of mp3 play time. So that makes no sence to me. Could some one explain why it is like that in Samsung phones?

Hey dude i have heard that due to shortage of AMOLED, now Samsung wont provide AMOLED screen phones in India and it wil provide only in usa. I heard that in 1 sgs forum on Orkut. Is it true?

I root my SGS with Z4 it runs very fast now........I didnt want 2 chk quadrant result and compare with actual performance...........it might b higher in quadrant bt actual performance is turly superb...........
Also wat is ROM , I heard Nero V5(ROM) has been released....Wats the purpose of it....??Also suggest the
apps to b used for rooted SGS

I wonder when will the update will arrive in Asia. I don't want to trick my kies

Some SGS have 3 combo buttons work, some deson't..
We use that 3 buttons for download or recovery mode in case s.th goes wrong with our SGS.
Trick Kies to XEU , it mean fool your kies to recognize that you have the UK SGS when plug in to you kies.. than you will see the latest version one

Mark, 19 Jan 2011I have just upgraded my GS to 2.2.1 Froyo and it works wond... moreok.. normally if you plug your usb cable to the hp and connect it using kies.. how long does the kies do the job by searching for a connected devise..?

gww, 19 Jan 2011haha.. i've already bought my sgs yesterday.. :p hmm.. now ... moreI have just upgraded my GS to 2.2.1 Froyo and it works wonders! I used to have non-working Skype with Eclair 2.1 and a music player which constantly stops,it was all resolved with Froyo plus some additional gadgets like auto-rotate on/off, places, latitude etc..try to install/ reinstall the KIES program connect/ disconnect trick till it works. Goodluck! You will really enjoy your new GS.

XEU, and when i plug my SGS to Kies it's said
XXJPY available. but i didn't update yet.. i need to fix my 3 combo buttons first just in case s.th wrong goes to my SGS i can recover it back..
P.S XXJPY only available in UK as far as i know..

The application startup of the phone is pretty slow, the keypad doesnt look good, also it doesnt have sweep/swype text, that makes your typing speed very slow, the application market is too expensive, whats the use of such a phone when you've got to pay for all the HD games? N8 is just a better hardware version of 5800, better touch screen and processor thats it.
