I just had my Galaxy for a week now and up until this moment i could not believe that this phone is so wonderful. Right now i am playing music from GS to my laptop through bluetooth and it is awesome!Before buying it, i read the reviews between i phone 4 and Galaxy S, and Samsung excels in all fields, and the display, wow! Video? Amazing!soo clear and sharp! Go for Galaxy!!

COBRA, 17 Jan 2011In Brief Stylish, handy and smart with following flaws B... moreto save battery big time put ur phone on gsm network rather then 3g cos 3g network is running internet all the time trust me my frainds sgs has 15mah battery thats a very good battery power .go to settings and go to mobilenetwork and choose gsm but when u wantto use web then switch it back to 3g

gww, 18 Jan 2011sorry guys.. just bought a sgs and i just unbox it.. after ... moreit means it plays most video formats divx is an avi format video the ones u download from pc baseically it means ur phone can play eny videos if u still hav problam playing them then download rock player from market or net that should make ur samsung perfected video player enjoy bye

Still nee... moreYes, Rooted and lagfix is faster than the 2.2 froyo. but now there is a 2.2.1 availble (JPY) is the score is around 1200 but more smoother than the lagfix.. if you dare to hack yr kies and yr 3 combo buttons work
u should try it.. to get yr 3 combo buttons works is very complicated as i am now in the the process of fixing it..

With gingerbread, that's another story. I agree with Cambodia SGS that if you want your sgs to fly then you'd have to take some risks.
Rooted and OCLF lagfixed: 1855 benchmark score^^

Sgs Is for those who dare and able to tweak s.th with their phone.. As for me I'm still learning and searching alot about it..for ordinary user I suggest to go for htc or iphone..

last year I bought my daughter an i-phone 4 for her birthday(she's an i-fan). to be sincere, after a few months of being a "proud possesor" of an i-phone I came to conclusion that I'd better buy a Samsung Galaxy S for myself.
......aaaand if something happens with your i-phone take care about the temperature, because the warranty service does not stand for less than 32F (0C).
we also have an i-pad (my daughter) and a samsung galaxy tab (me).
so, what can I say?
definitely it's samsung!

i just upgraded this phone to 2.2 n really i surprised by it's supporting HINDI fonts.i was very hopeless for hindi in this gadget bt now i am so happy.there is also added voice search option.thanx to google n samsung !
