Hi all.. i'm new to SGS.. hope u guys can give me a honest ans.. i think i'm going hands on and try out SGS.. which i'm goanna buy or thinking to buy in a few days.. but before i buy.. SGS really got alot of problem...? like example the batt drain very fast and so on..? cos i'm using x10 if i go buy sgs this will be my 1st samsung hp..

On my 2nd phone in 2 weeks. Battery life no more than 8 hrs with moderate use....?? Otherwise a fantastic phone. Anyone with similar experience?

If you live in the Middle East area, DO NOT Buy the phone. The market is disabled for this region. SAM which is a shitty version of market has few crappy applications and Samsung Apps do not support android phones which is truly a weird situation because you end up with a good phone but without applications...

I prefer this phone rather than N900. This one has better processor, better screen, fast and reliable. *thumbs up*
But if you are an apps craze, better get the iPhone 4.

digi, 15 Jan 2011I`ve got my galaxy S since one month now. the only drawback... moreactually, it cannot goes up to 1000h of standby time. But if u didnt use the phone, it can last till 7 days. But, how possible you can just watch the phone for a week without having messages or calls.

Buy SGS guys,you will not be dissapointed,is the best phone on the market,or iphone 4,they are pretty much equall,but the iphone is much more expensive,so I recommand SGS,and Nokia N900 is one of the worst phones on the planet...

I`ve got my galaxy S since one month now. the only drawback i`m facing is the battery autonomy. i was mislead by the specs saying that the autonomy would be over 1000 hrs standby time and around 7 hrs talktime. however, its autonomy is only two days. Anybody may clarify this for me.
