Bought this phone this week. Major regret.
Overpriced. The 1GHz processor is a joke. Its still so laggy.

Hi
after i update samsung galaxy s to 2.2: FROYO. i am having difficulty in connecting to a wifi network. Also some times a running application freeze my phone.

Hi Everyone;
I have a question to the users of this phone. Does any one meet the problem with the smuge vertical lines of on the super amoled screen. On my model they appeared on the third day of usage. This problem is known to Samsung, because many samsung waves had been serviced and the screens were replaced. Strage that samsung did not learn and used the same defective screens for its flagship model. Please guys notify, if you spotted or spot any shadow, smuge lines on your screens thanks. bye

I had the same problem and after a while I've found the solution. z4root DO NOT COOPERATE with OneLagFix!!!!!!
Do the Factory Restore and the install and use only OneLagFix! U'll be amazed, I was :) Now Quadrant score is 1875 (befor 907)

Knowing Samsung it could be a while before it appears. But XDA developers are sure to port a stable version in the mean time. Until then stop complaining and enjoy the phone.

have had galaxy for 3 months now. absolutely stunning phone, both in performance, design, etc. awesome speed and crystal-clear amoled screen. 2 pieces of advice : the galaxy casing is so smooth that it risks falling out of your hand, so do buy a case. and second, one store sold the galaxy for 80 $ more than another store, so do compare prices between stores before buying !

Is it true that this phone discontinue?
I ask several vendor in my country (Indonesia) and they all says the same thing. But when i check at the internet it's still Available. 6 month is to short to discontinue a great phone!!!
