if u want camera than go for N8 , either way u have to compromise something
Galaxy s interface is far better than outdated N8 interface.
As a Galaxy S owner i am satisfied with my phone..

i bought this hp on NOV 2010,so far until lately I hve
difficulty charging the hp.I went to the dealer,he told me that it might be software hang.Then I open the set and
put in back again.Then I manage to charge.The next day
the same problem happen.I have to open the set and put it back again every time I want to charge it.This is inconvenience to me as an expensive and smart hp this problem shd not be happening.Pls advise me.

I don’t know why people like criticizing phones they don’t have. If u like the N8, go its platform and share ur ideas with others. Buying a phone involves a bit of research. I previously had a Nokia N8 but I changed to this phone because its serves all my purpose. The most important thing for me is how the internet, UI, gps and other basic functions operate. The internet is faster and the whole user interface is completely smooth compared to the N8. Symbian still lags behind unlike Android. I don’t care about the 12 megapixels. I am not into photography and even if I was, I would buy a proper camera and not turn my phone into one. I won’t use my N8 to take pictures on a vacation. The camera would do this job for me. As for the battery it’s more than enough. I don’t also care about playing games on the phone. I have a ps3 at home.
I only browse the internet, receive and make calls, use the gps sometimes, listen to music, text, receive emails and watch some videos online. The battery lasts at least 24hours. I don’t use it when am at work because there is an available computer and I check what I need to there. Mainly use it on my way back from work and during the weekends at it still lasts that long. In conclusion, Galaxy s is a better phone but it depends on what u need in a phone. Blackberry could also be regarded as a better messaging phone or dell streak is better for watching videos and browsing. Galaxy S combines all the decent features from several phones and it works perfectly.

Dont even talk about Nokia and Symbian, its the worst OS ever. Someone mentions that it can open 22 apps. I had Nokia N85 (its faster then N97) with 128 RAM and if i open any app, say fring, I cannot delete a message in my inbox, it says no memory. That is the power of symbian. And u r saying it can open 22 apps? I will be happy if it opens a 2 apps.
BTW Galaxy S is the best fone around and the only drawback is the battery life

And N8 has lacky touch screen and multi-touch is not good as Samsung.
Yes Syambian 3 has a few applications.

george, 31 Dec 2010You cannot compare the quality of the games on your Nokia N... morehave you forgotten that the n8 has a dedicated gaming gpu.? and that 600mhz is just enough and that 256mb ram could do all stuff?... in my experience of n8, it could open up to 22 apps! and that is true multitasking
