brijesh, 26 Dec 2010which phone should buy nokia n8 or i9000 galaxy S?N8 looks good when it is not being used with its aluminium body that makes N8 heavy, but Symbian completely kills the user experience so the only reason to choose N8 is if you desperatly need a very good camera and do not really care about using all of N8 other specs because even if N8 have the specs for almost everyting Symbian makes everyting a pain to do on N8, even texting on N8 is a frustrating total pain and only 360x640 makes reading webpages almost impossible bacause text is unreadable when zommed out and when zoomed in the text does not reformat to fit the screen, and no qwerty in portrait, and N8 misses a lot of flash content because it only has "flashlite" not full Flash 10.1

brijesh, 26 Dec 2010which phone should buy nokia n8 or i9000 galaxy S?its ur choice brijesh...both r good phones...i own both...no problms so far with both handsets...n8 is good bt its ui is vry outdated..das wht i feel and abt SGS,there is only one thing i hate abt it...which is its plastic body...u have 2 keep it clean evry time u use it...trust me its real fingr print magn8 wer as n8 is beautifully crafted metal peice...bt thats abt it...no complains besides dat...and aftr upgrade to 2.2 its lightning quick...choice is urs bro...mk a wise choice...hpy shoppin...merry xmas :-)

hi,i have galaxyS,but there isn't update to froyo 2.2? I have installed the latest version of the KIES,but it detects that there isn't update for my phone! I'm from europa and I know that the firmware update to froyo is out. What I have to do to upgrade?

No dought that sgs is great phone, but only question is - battery capacity. How long does it work in real life??

-Samsung Vibrant
-Samsung i897 Captivate
-Samsung Fascinate
-Samsung M110S Galaxy S
And if you have any other phones to suggest that'll be great! but no iPhones i just happen to hate them. And any extra info about these phones will really help! thanks :)

[deleted post]htc desire crap cam/video and loudspeaker and microphone..If you can live with that lot you will be fine,,sgs blows desire away in above said qualities.

Yeah wife got me one and been messing with for most of xmas day.It really is a stunning bit of kit. Right got headache so more getting used galaxy s tommorow,or am allowed to say SGS now i own one.Its been class Christmas.:-)

i have downloaded some songs from website in my SGS. th... moreWhenever I dump some .mp3 's or videos via USB connection into my phone or SD card. After I disconnect the USB the media scanner starts.. you can't access the music in music player until the media scanning stops. Depending on how much you have in your phone this can take a minute or 2. So don't restart your phone and just wait a couple of minutes.

Hi
i have downloaded some songs from website in my SGS. they are not showing up into my Music player.
When i download the songs, every time i have to either restart my phone or have to move any media file in my SD Card so that Media scanning can start and the downloaded file show up into my music player.
Is there any other way to refresh media player in SGS?
