1.Switch off your phone
2.holding volume up and home key switch on
3.select the option, wipe data or factory reset
4.select reboot now.
5.you will feel like a new phone
6.complete initial settings such as language.

Samsung galaxy s gt I 9000 is a wonderful phone with all the latest features.It has an awesome display due to super amoled.I have been using it for more than 2 years.I don't have any complaint till date.I would strongly recommend this phone.

Camera Problem
Can capture only videos, no still images, gets corrupted after capture....
cant fixed after flash...

Compairing this unit to the Cherry Mobile S100. The S100 has better hardware performance as bench-marked using antutu benchmarking application.. Considering the price of S100 w/c I can say the cheapest android phone running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4.. Playing NBA 2k13 and Need For Speed is smooth on S100... So better buy S100 than SGS.. ^_^

ABIEY, 15 Apr 2013i only have ram of 364 mb can i increase that to 512NO ...YOU CANT...however you can increase your CPU from 1GHZ to 1.3GHZ...which is only possible with few specific kernel...like Mackay Kernel

Cornell, 15 Apr 2013hey which Rom is better and fast? I wanna install in on my sgs1. GamerzRom which is a JB 4.2.2 and C-Rom Mix v16...I suggested you C-Rom Mix v16..its the most stable ROM so far.

If you have not used the GPS for a long time it might have to load a full GPS almanac, which takes 12.5 minutes to receive. Same for all GPS devices.
Things to try:
1. Install app "GPS Status", which shows satellites one by one as they come into view in the sky. Test with GPS Status.
2. In status menu, turn GPS off, then on. Test with GPS Status.
3. Restart phone. Test with GPS Status.
