If it hasn't occurred to you, voting down a phone just so your favored phone will look better is a serious warning sign that your favored phone is CRAP and you are being a fanboy. Was a nokia fan once, left them coz they make crap phones. I even read about a symbian fan closing his website coz he realized nokia could not compete with android and ios. Wake up and smell the roses!

Adobe flash work also to 2.1. Download the apk from getadroidstuff.com after download app installer from market. Install it and then reboot ur phone. GZ u have now flash player

SamSung WAVE and Galaxy both have different OS and both are excellent. Galaxy S is expensive than Wave.

Galaxy S is the best phone atm in the world. On 2.1 is better than other devices 2.2. Galaxy s in some countries have already launch froyo. With froyo 2.2 galaxy s is amazing

I know the Galaxy is an awsome piece of machinery. And I´m shure I´m gonna love it.
One thing I´m in love with in the Wave is the sound-quality fr the musicplayer. Suppose the Galaxy have the same crispy sound though.
Also listen to the radio a lot. Read review and apparently the Galaxy have only mono-sound. Seems a little low-end I must say.
And not even a dedicated Camerabutton on the side. And the flash on the Wave does the work. In video-mode it can be constantly on, and U can via apps, use it as a flashlight aswell. To be totaly whitout one... hmm. Damn... this is tuff. = )

I am happy owner of SGS and had i8510 Innov8 before which in my opinion was the best most solid phone Samsung has ever put out.
I love the 4 inch screen on the SGS. its great for TV shows (SPB TV) and movies and YouTubes. Screen clarity is awesome.
Its plastic but VERY strong ...and thin and light I keep it in front shirt pocket and barely know its there.
The gorilla glass is very strong also and doesn't scratch.
If you tweak the SGS with lagfix and Froyo . its blazing fast.

I have a doubt abt froyo flash upgrade...
I want to know if i open a website, say dailymotion and want to play a video... will it play on the same page? I mean it shld play similar to computer?
After upgrade, i installed adobe flash player 10.1 and adobe air !!!
But when i tried to play a video, i asked two options to play on video player or interenet, in both cases it said donload to sd card unsuccessful!!!

Hi!
Am a very happy owner of a Samsung Wave S8500.
Have just been offerd a clean swap to a i9000 Galaxy S in mint condition, even newer than my Wave. Am considering it.
The thing is... I´m som god damn pleased with my Wave.
The size is perfect.
The metal-body is nicer then the plastic Galaxy.
And it´s got the good flash for cam & video.
Bada... is actually an excellent OS. Fast and never any lag, and I dont And nice updates on the way.
Have never tried Android. Tested a friends Galaxy and found Android messy and laggy in comparison to the Wave´s handling.
Ofcourse the 4" display and better browser has it´s advantages.
Please motivate me.
Why should I change to the Galaxy.

the lack of customer support has been the number one issue for samsung, its next to not getting any support at all.
galaxy s is an overpriced overrated phone, plastic casing etc. the price is too much to pay even with it's "screen advantage" over the iphone. after upgrading to froyo, a friend's galaxy just went dead. samsung technicians did not know what to do with it. now my friend is forced to bring his phone to greenhills. really not worth it.
