You can use the task killer that comes with the phone which is allot better but if your on an older version of android use a task killer.
Android 2.3 will be available in a month or so.

Are task killers bad for the phone??? I have just bought this phone,so guys please suggest me some good apps and games.... I don't want to root my phone,so please suggest me some lagfixes and task killers without losing my warranty. Thanx and regards.

In 2012 market will be
Symbian: 203 million handsets, 39 percent of the market; Google Android: 76 million handsets, 14.5 percent of the market; Apple iPhone OS: 71.5 million handsets, 13.7 percent of the market; Windows Mobile: 66.8 million handsets, 12.8 percent of the market; RIM BlackBerry OS: 65.25 million handsets, 12.5 percent of the market; Linux variants: 28 million handsets, 5.4 percent of the market; Palm webOS: 11 million handsets, 2.1 percent of the market.
Database giant Oracle has launched a legal action against Google, alleging that the company infringes seven patents it owns related to Java.
Eric Schmidt, the CEO of Google, was formerly a chief technical officer for Sun Microsystems. Sun Microsystems was bought by Oracle.
The move is interesting because when Sun Microsystems was a separate entity it promoted Java as an open source option.
Google never formally took out a licence from Sun Microsystems, while Java is widely used in a large number of applications created by other vendors. The law suit will cause other manufacturers to wonder whether Oracle will start a patent hunt against them.
The move prompted the Wall Street Journal to remind its readers that Larry Ellison, the CEO of Oracle, is a friend of Steve Jobs, the CEO of Apple.
Apple considers Android to be a considerable threat to the iPhone and the Google OS continues to grow its market share as an OS for smartphones.

I run One Click Lag Fix - only "Root Device Recorvery 2e", withnout finishing the process by restarting device. Now my device is not supported by Samsung Apps. I would like to undo change i made, but i dont know how. I dont want to have faster phone, i just want to work it correctly with Samsung apps and be able to update to new official versions of Android/firmware.
Please help me!

What a phone so far! What a massive step up frm Omnia I900 that I had earlier with a custom ROM winmo6.5.
Makes the winmo 6.5 look so so last decade!

hi paul and shiva.....pls tell me....in samsung galaxy s can we put togather in one place some widgets like iphone4 or 3gs.....exampleall games have one folder and all shopping widgets in one folder like drag in one folder hope u understan.....can we do in this phone if yes then how?2ndly in galaxy s can we make bookmark for one website and then we show a widgets on the screen so whenever we need to go that website we just need to touch that widget.....?pls tell me how or we only can do this in desire?thanks

I got a indian stock rom but u must back up the product code first to do that u must root ur device but after rooting u can unroot is possible.... If u ready to do then i will help u
