Inder, 18 Oct 2010hi there can u please tell us about the ram, I mean does it... moreRAM is never a major concern with sgs. Also, 326 or 512 no big difference performance-wise. That said, sgs no doubt, has 512mb of RAM under the hoods. However, it will never show 512 as the total capacity. Reason being there are other system process using portion of that 512MBs. It works same like shared video ram in your desktops/laptops with no dedicated video memory/small video memories.

Amir, 18 Oct 2010hi Shiva & Paul,pls tell me whats going here i dont und... morewell its hart to suggest to ur needs for now its all abt trust at first wen eclair is new it was not the best has so many flaws battery draining, lag issue, gps problem .....ect... but now after some update its the best so same here for froyo after some update it will become best but gingerbread will be avail next....
c every phone has its own problem if u take htc it has some flaws low memory capacity, 3g connection lost , battery draining and not much impressive with froyo as well and u cant make a video call with front facing cam.... iphone 4 has less customizing and has a signal issue and lots more....
desire hd is good but worst battery backup if u wan try hd but am not pretty sure abt it....
as for as galaxy consent its not great with official roms so if u done some tweaking with custom roms then its gona be the best for ever....
i know something to tweak so am happy with this.....
i had a lot of problem when using winmo which bricks the phone easy but android has a 3 button recovery so it wont brick easy if anything goes wrong so am happy with this doing anything....

hi Shiva & Paul,pls tell me whats going here i dont understand and make me confused now....because so many people keep saying dont buy this phone bacause the new software dosn't make change and no good blah blah blah blah.........i m realy fedup :( honestly.........i want to know should i buy this phone or not and there is any future for software and when galaxy s will have flash support 10.1 pls and is this better choice compare to i phone 3gs or 4 or HTC desire or hd.....pls reply details wise........many thanks

I dont wana take risk, ill wait for the official ... morekeep ur keis updating and once the update is on ur country u will be able to update connect ur phone to keis and click the firmware upgrade icon on kies and follow the procedure.... am frm india too so once the update is avail then i inform u dont worry.....

Its not the same thing!!
Video calls started years ago with the front facing camera,but now its apple's FaceTime but still they are not the same thing!!! Remember those cheap phones which didn't have card slots or bluetooth,we used data cables just to put in some ringtones or wallpapers? And now it's iPhone's dependency on iTunes and cables without bluetooth,but still they are not the same things!!! Steve Jobs gonna start a new business policy...TUTORIALS...he's giving tutorials on *How to hold a phone? *How to get a grip and never drop an iPhone 4. *How to jailbreak it and release it's full potential of bluetooth transfer and free apps from the store.
Nokia N8 moto: Its not technology its what you use. Yes,we use it first as a phone and then for its camera. We keep looking at our phones for about 12 hours a day,so we need a good screen a good UI and a good OS(which is obsolete in N8). Camera is secondary. And if you are giving us USB OTG then there should be a good antivirus pre installed,coz more or less all our pendrives contain virus. and if we were so keen on connecting our bluetooth mouse and keyboard and connection it via HDMI with our HD tv, I guess we would rather buy a netbook instead.Coz that would serve both the purpose and functionality.
Samsung Galaxy S : Good to touch,nice to hold. Once its broken,consider it sold. Thats the kind of support Samsung gives its customers,samsung dropped symbian,what about the Omnia HD owners?? I can still see SGS owners struggling to get their 2.2 Froyo update. And ofcourse its battery, you can do anything with this phone but just don't unplug your charger. Or you may better have a spare battery in your pocket. and about the updates and fixes... I can assure you half of the SGS owners spend their time looking for lag fixes and task killers and buy the time they have found the right one,the battery is already hungry

SAMSUNG has had lots of laurels & praises for this phone. But there have been many things desired left out like:
-> A dual LED flash atleast, Xenon flash better.
-> A physical slide out QWERTY keyboard.
These are most essential. But it would be better if you could also add the following:
-> Nowadays we have Quad core processors from Qualcomm, atleast give a 1.5Ghz Dual Core processor.
-> Full 1080p HD is now possible.
-> 32 or 64 Gb memory is also possible.
-> Hot-swappable external microSD card slot is a must.
-> Active Magnetic Stylus can be easily accommodated.
-> Pls give a Li-Po lithium polymer battery of atleast 2700 mAh or more. Such a large screen and processor needs the juice.
Why is there so much emphasis on super slim thin phones? It doesn't matter if the thickness increases a bit due to all this.
-> A 2mpx front Camera for videocalls, why stick to VGA. It is possible to give a 5mpx, why not give a 2mpx atleast.
-> Gingerbread is already out and we have Android 3.5 and 4 round the corner, so why wait?
SAMSUNG guys, glory doesn't last long and in this rat race u have to listen to what people want and deliver it, to stay on the cutting edge.
And Guys YOU can surely do it!

But webpages loads faster than eclair and downloading is much faster as well
then system performance is also improved a lot with gps can lock in half a second and new ui makes simple to use

If u wan more detail check out in xda dev then u know better so 304mb is gona be the same all time......
