The GalaxyS is the most advanced fone on the market BUT it has 2 fails. 1. Bmp images over about 10mb are not viewable and any Bmp of around 5mb while viewable they are not intelligently rerendered when zoomed so they they are crap. 2. Also in the android Word editor you cannot swipe characters andcut and paste. I am able to do all of the above on my 2 year old Omnia1 and also on my 5 year old Dopod. What gives?Does anyone know why? And if a android app is available please let me know which one and where to get it. I am extremely dissapointed in that the Galaxy S cannot handle BMP images.

This phone is amazing, Its almost same like Samsung wave, but we get an Android OS instead, which is of course better!

Anonymous, 17 Sep 2010how to chack battery usage?press this code *#*#4636#*#*; 4636 basically means info in your keypad. When you press that, it will automatically start the testing and information menu. There you would find 2 sections for the battery- Battery Info and Battery History!

The Galaxy is in fact a nice product of Samsung team but it is in the high range of price segment.

Most times you can get. Custom version of an update before the official one but it may not be 100% complete and may mess with your warranty. What phone do you have?

Lagging can be due to various reasons and one of which is certainly due to "too many apps running in the background" .. Try using the Advanced Task Killer.. That'd help!
