I just buy this phone !!!! i also an iphone user !!!! this phone win iphone only 3 thing !!! the beautiful deep clear screen( a bit better than iphone4 but much better than iphone 3gs), web browsing n clear text !!!!!!!! anyway the iphone4 is the best one !!!!!!!!!!

CAN THIS PHONE WORK WITH AT&T 3G NETWORK?
Hello everybody,
i was truly thinking about getting either this Samsung Galaxy i9000 or the HTC Nexus One, BUT when i went on the web site where they sell them, i noticed a Note that states that the "3G DOES NOT WORK US & Canada".
NOW... the reason why i am changing Phone is just that my 4 years old BlackBerry Curve does not have 3G, and i really don't like the iPhones because they are all locked up so i wanted an Android, but since i am bonded to a Family Plan that includes 2 active iPhones... i have to stick with AT&T so...:
Is anyone using this Samsung i9000 with AT&T 3G Netowork or is it limited to EDGE?

u dont need to put cd in computer to use kies. do this settings, about phone usb settings, mass storage or ask on connection and this phone is sh** i have in the ram is not 512mb it more like 380mb a rip off from samsung im getting a hammer a smeshing it. and then getting an iphone 4

Very good phone, the 1 Ghz CPU is really fast. Display and multitouch are excellent.
apart from the built quality (cheap plastic body) this phone is much better than iphone 4.
but i don't know how to sync this with my Mac! there is no software (Kies) for mac. mac is not recognizing this phone when i connect it by USB.
so i m unable to transfer photos and music,

is there any way to stop running applications within d phone itself other than downloading task killer frm the market??some one pls reply..when I saw d running application settings in my phone it say to stop bt it may have undesirable concequences on the application..would stopping application frm there result in harm to any application??

Hi, I got mine 2 days ago too. I had Nokia N900 before - with keyboard, I loved that phone - it was truly professional. But when I saw specs of Galaxy S I thought I will like it more. Did you already try the Swype function when typing? It is fabulous. I like the phone, although the plastic needs some case :) to be sure it is safe. Nokia had a better build quality.
I also liked Galaxy for a good(better) camera.
The only thing I was upset with, is that GPS function has to be fixed with a new firmware. It works very badly, is not precise at all. But they tell that Samsung has heard of this and is going to prepare an update.

Too bad this phone doesn't support multi language in web page like iphone. Safari is mire advance than goggle browser.

Have a problem with my Galaxy S when connecting to PC
with usb Cable when I Select Samsung Kies
the screen on the phone keeps flashing inbetween
the usb connection and main home screen
have lates Kies installed on PC
Have allso reset phone and tried on my laptop but still same prob
any help would be great thanks
