I was using sonyericsson w830i before... and the buttons similar to our galaxy s which controls volume on the side of the phone can be used as changing the music track on the long press of these buttons.

I just wanted to know if we can configure the same way on SGS? its a pain to unlock screen and change the track!!!!

hi everyone.. i just got this phone the other day and i'm absolutely impressed.. my only regret is, it is locked with BELL(Canada) and I haven't been able to use it with my ROGERS sim card.. does anybody know a genuine website who unsuccessfully unlocked this Bell Version of SGS Vibrant? Thank you..

Anup, 16 Aug 2010To people complaining about battery life: 1. Understand th... moreBright wallpapers do not drain the battery too much. The screen should be locked when you do not use the phone. If you use it, the scree will show the app you are using not the wallpaper:).
Indeed switching off the wi-fi, blu-tooth, etc (from the dropdown bar at the top of the screen) when not need it, saves the battery.
So use whatever wallpaper you like.

So if old people can understand and have patience they will find everything easy.
