i had done big mistake in my life to sold this phone.and purchase xperia arc s.galaxy s have good battery. Display is simply unbeatable.still best power full smart phone.

sssonny, 22 Aug 2012does it come with dual sim?There's DUO-SIM and DUO-SIM support on phones. Duo SIM is one phonenumber on 2 SIM cards, so you can switch phones with 1 number. DUO-SIM support on a phone means 2 SIM-cards in one phone, so u can switch numbers.
The 1st (having duo-sim) depends on your operator. I think u mean the 2nd (2 sims in 1 phone) and the answer is NO.

Now my i9000 is as smooth as butter as Jelly bean ROM had made it to SGS1. Its like a legendary phone.
Guys, Install this ROM and you'll know why i said its to smooth.

tabs, 19 Aug 2012how did you even upgrade to ics with knowing the basic/???/... moreThanks dude, and for your curiousity, my friend gave me a link to a forum on xda dev. where i found all the steps on how to install ICS in my phone. But i never felt to know more about it. Did it just to make my phone look cooler but never thought of its odds. Some people told me that going back to stock ROM isn't possible. so i posted in this forum and got a few helping hands. Thanks again for the suggestions @others.

anyways xda is the best place to look for answer
but if you want to go back to stock.? theres only one thing to do flash original firmware to your phone using odin,now dont asked me how,,it differs from phone to phone but concept is basically the same
before flashing using odin visit xda first and read through articles you might flash the wrong firmware and boommm u just brick ur phone....

here's what i have done with my SGS, i was using v2.1 then i upgraded to v4.0.3(rooted). i lost some built-in apps now i want to downgrade to v2.3.5(stock version, not the rooted one, hoping to get those apps back). can that be done? if not, then please give me a link where i can get back everything found in a stock v2.3.5(including bug fixes and better performance). wanna get rid of ICS. I'm a newbie, ur help will be greatly appreciated. thank you.
