Got galaxy a from o2 shop on prepay 7hrs ago and give it goo 4hr charge..First thoughts is really nice and light and full of options and still nowhere near set up,using booklet to get setup, now thats afirst for me..On back it says with google meaning it should get updates first i think..

Even without flash it makes one of the best videos I've seen on phone, talking as well for night capturing which is totaly amazing! Its battery is realy strong having in mind its 4.0 Super AMOLED inch screen. The colors are realy vibrant and awesome. I've seen Iphone 4 with its retina display and I must say that the SAMSUNG is much better and has prior outdoors. This device has one of the most fastest processors for phones currently out, 512MB of Ram and 2GB of ROM gives you the most you can have from one phone on the market atm. It is with Android 2.1 and can do everything you can think of. I recommend this device for anyone who is looking for all in one phone! Really the Samsung has done one of the most flawless things in the world.

c how the techno goes may be i can get 1.5 ghz r dualcore r something else for same price....

If I am omnia user I would definitely wait 4 another 6 months bcoz(2 get SGS)
Omnia has 800 MHz which is pretty gud
Only problm is windows os bt could live with it(if its nt like vista)
Other featurs are almost same as SGS
and by that time I could use more refreshin one

Alui, 05 Aug 2010Kies has a movie converter you can use to convert any video... morehi every one this is a nice phone now the best in market i like to get one but omnia 2 was same as this before 6 month i bought it for 27,000 rs but now this one...
i just given i a shop for exchanging the omnia 2 with galaxy they said omnia 2 can be exchanged for 7,000 and i have to pay 21,000 to get galaxy....
s the techno keeps improving but we cant spend money of 20,000 for every 6 months even i buy this in next 6 months there will be new advance model sure so am confused to stick with omnia r must buy galaxy....

Well its good H/s but the touch screen seems to be the same that samsung provides on the lower-end H/s.Its like u drving Ferrari with a normal Hatch back engine

No idea about the AV. The smartphone viruses spread mainly over Blutooth, so keep it shut-off. Anyway I never heard of an Adroid virus.
