No, not 3,7in. Make it 3,5in because I don't want the phone to cover half my face when I use it as a phone :-)

Some more hands~on. This time with the Video and Music player. Listening to Mp3's through headphones is a real pleasure. However, I must point out that the default settings are God awfull, as there is too much distortion. I found that I had to use the custom equalizer settings (adjust them a little) before I lost the distortion. Otherwise, the Galaxy S gives off the perfect blend of Bass and Trebble. (I'm using Bose headphones). I don't suggest using the 5.1 sound when listening to MP3's.
The video player is gorgeous! Picture is beautiful. I highly recommend viewing videos with the 5.1 sound enabled.

On a side note. When you go to the music player, turning the phone on it's side will give you a cover flow type menu which displays all your songs/albums as C.D. Icons which you can skip through.

I have it for one month and the only problem was that the Keis software from the CD provided did not recognise the phone. I downloaded Kies from the Samsung site and then it worked.
Otherwise, the phone is the best smartphone I ever had, fast, no bugs, large screen, swype, runs any video format, flash lite, very easy to control.

I love this phones. I sell phones for a living so I know my stuff. It was either the Xperia x10 (but thats limited to Android 2.1 at beast) or te HTC desire but I had a really bad time with the touch pro. So Samsung it was and I don't regret a thing. This is as complete a phone as I have ever had and I have had some quite decent ones. It gives everything an Iphone does but better and more.

                                      -No Itunes (thank god!)
-If u dont like the look of the interface u can go nutz and change it easily
-there are more than enough easy to access apps on android market.
-support the new goodgle nagigator which has free voice navigation (android 2+ only, get it at google mobile website for free, voice nav disn't available for apple or symbian lol).
-Although it is plastic feels solg. Besides if you want a phone that is relatively expensive and has so many internal part its always a good idea to get a case for it)

Lastly should note that Samsung make pretty much all of apples parts. They are in no way a dudd manufacturer. They brought out a solid phone and dont have a need to bring out an incremental improvement like apple (iphone 3, 3g, 3gs ect.)

If samsung release a galaxy 2 there will be a massive difference and you will know it.

I'm not really an apple hater (they make me so much commision, however I like a phone i can use in the way ii would like and not the way apples says I may.

When the upgrade for 2.2 comes out, it will have flash capability, and the speed of the phone will be much faster. At present 2.1 doesn't use all the 512mb of ram the Galaxy has. 2.2 however does, so the speed will be crazy good and better power management.

As for support on the phone, Samsung is taking that aspect seriously and also you have the added backup of Android. Its like buying a computer from dell. Dell can do whatever they want and provide whatever upgrades they want but realistically you never really have to talk to dell until theres a problem, everything you would want for tat computer comes from microsoft for your Windows OS.

Laslty get the Snes immuators for this phone so fun.

If your stll not convinced about this phone, check out the quake 3 demo on it, its a powerhouse! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oaaicSzzHeE

Mine lasts for 4 hours of use (gaming), but I'm not complaining:). Anyway I grow tired of browsing, playing with the phone before the battery is depleted. Anyway, I can watch more than a full movie with one charge and that's OK with me.
