Samsung galaxy s playing Quake 3. The phone has the best gpu by far. 3 times more powerful than any other android and 2 times more powerful than iphone.
It can process 90million triangles. Your Xbox does 250triangles. Hop that gives u an idea of how good it is.

Got mine last week & love it, swype's great, plays all my avi's no probs, no lag, battery lasts 1 & half days even with heavy use. very customisable, definate fingerprint magnet but what touchscreen isnt.
I was apprehensive about not having a flash for the camera and then i thought of 2 things.
1.) in the 12 months on my old phone i only took 3 dark/night time pictures that required flash.
2.) all my friends have cam phones with flash if im that desperate for a pic ill use their camera and just blutooth it to mine.
I'd give this phone 9 1/2 out of 10 and thats just as I havent got round to using all of the features yet!

I think this phone is iphone 4 killer. The spec is far superior than iphone 4. I hope next version of samsung phone will have digital tv capability. BTW Anyone know other android phone with built fm radio radio?

in some videos of samsung galaxy they are saying that it is 3d game supported is it true???i can download games like nfs under cover or not????

Samsung is taking over the market by Wave and Galaxy S.. Galaxy S is going to have Froyo while Wave has got more than 6 Fw upgrades.. Yaahoooo... Go Samsung go.. Wave Galaxy Rocks..

If u r lookin for camera phone i would suggest N8,but if u r lookin for smartphone with all features go for this 1. But I am waitin 4 GALAXY Q becoz it has Super AMOLED2,only 3 inch screen while this one is little big,QWERTY keypad,Optical Trackpad,Android 2.2(froyo),8MP camera with LED Flash,Secondary camera 1.3MP. If u dont want QWERTY keypad or flash then sure go for this.

I have recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy. It is an excellent piece of kit. The camera is decent for a spontaneous snap but it would be better if there was at least an LED light.
Does anyone know where to download movies for the samsung galaxy s?

I just wanna enquire some questions regarding this mobile SGS I9000.
1. I've heard that the GPS isnt working properly. Is it due to hardware problem? Can it be fixed?
There are people who encounter a bit of a problem getting a (fast)fix from the gps signal.
I'm from the Netherlands and use the 16GB version for over three weeks.
I have NO PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER with the gps!
Inside the house Google maps and Google Earth give me a fix within 30 sec. from a cold start.
Outside with a cold start Google maps, Navigation with voice and Google Earth give me a fix whitin 10sec!
It's not a hardware problem and on different blogs you can read that Samsung has picked up the problem and already has made a temporary fix.
You can also find a fix on a few rom-modding sites but those have to do with a flash though...
I think with the official update to Android 2.2 (Froyo) within the next months the problem will be solved for those who actualy have it ;-)
2. Does SGS has any in-built radio?
Yes it has a build in stereo radio with rds.
3. What is the speed difference between the 8GB and the 16GB?
There is NO speed difference between them, just the inside memory ;-)
4. Is the photo still clear when taking pics at night? (as i heard there isnt any flash light for the camera)
What do you think by yourself??
Ever seen a photo takin' in the dark whith a camera phone which is clear??
If you do, please post it, cause I think many people are interested to see one.
And you heard right: There is NO flash on the phone.
Even if there would be, it wouldn't help to make a clear picture at night.
5. Does the battery gets heated up easily? like when you use it on talking? or playing games? or watching movie?
What do you mean by 'heated up easily'?
If you play the free included game Asphalt5 for over an hour the back of the phone gets warm, but nothing to get worried about.
It even says so in the manual that it doesn't matter to the phone though.
If you realy want a phone that is fast, has an awesome screen, Android and the apps market AND beats the fruit phone in every department, just go for this one.
It also has an ace up it's sleeve: The update to Android 2.2 Froyou which will make it even faster and let it the the use of the full 512MB instead of the 326MB which is only possible with the current Android 2.1 Eclair :-))

GPS is very very bad. Everything else seems to be really good.
