1. i have read it can record video in full hd i mean in 1280 x 720 pixels.. is it true? if yes then it can play full hd video 1280 x 720 pixel no words about this phone its the best phone in planet
2. my current omnia pro has 800mhz which can be tuned to run 1ghz but it still lags may be bec of microsf winmo so this phone has any problem running android
and most importantly will it get froyo update? samsung r very bad in update they never look back once their mobile sold i had a exp in omnia pro

Ill be looking at different stores this weekend as well and ill be calling samsung Philippines to get the real info on when the galaxy s will be sold unlocked and contract free. if anybody knows a store that sells the galaxy s unlocked that would just be a great help for all of us who cant wait to get our hands on the this superb phone.

I am locked to smart for another year and a half and I lost my Omnia 2 last June and I'm in dire need for galaxy s. Hehehe. My Omnia 2 was the best phone for me then I get to read the spec for galaxy s and damn it is as complete as one could ask for (except for the flash i guess but thats no deal breaker for me much better than my Omnia 2). I'm crossing my finger that August is the month for it to be available in the Phil. I'd be inquiring to samsung outlets this weekend and share if I found one. Kindly share if you found a retail outlet as well, thanks.

rille, 28 Jul 2010How can i update to android 2.2 to get flash support? You already have flash support (3.1 lite).Activate it in the browser->options->settings, -> allow plugins. It's deactivated by default, that's why you do not see flash content. Froyo will have Flash 10.1.

Mark, 28 Jul 2010I have recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy. It is an exce... moredepending on the country you live in, there are on-line movie stores who allow you to download DiVX-es. However some of them do not recognise the phone OS so it's better to download them on your phone through a PC (connect your phone to the PC in Storage mode). Also you can convert some of your own DVD's.

This is an amazing piece of tech with a phone thrown in. I am just so loving the clear crisp screen's Hi Res, and I keep finding new stuff that says Wow! Has to be the best smart phone around. I looked at iPhone once, (and like all Apple stuff - I can't stand the plain and boring interface) then realized just how good the Galaxy s i9000 is compared to the other smart phones out there.
And when Adobe Flash comes in with the 'droid 2.2 upgrade it will be even better.

No more I-tunes plays almost every unconverted video, not to mention the awesome screen and SPEED.

shiva, 29 Jul 2010hi everybody can someone say how was the msging is it comfo... moreWith the Galaxy S you can choose to use the supurb SWYPE text input which is way faster than any keybord you've ever used on any device!!
It takes a few days (for heavy texters) or as little as a week (if you're a modest texter)to get to know the SWYPE text input.
After that you won't believe you've ever done whitout it.
The SWYPE text input is the only thing I use for all text.
It's blazing fast and after a few weeks it knows all your most used words etc. if you add them to the SWYPE memory/dictionary (which is very easy btw)
Take my word for it you'll be surprised.
I'm from the Netherlands and it even has the DUTCH language included even though it's a difficult language ;-)

so i need the phone nice and friendly for daily use without lagging... so is this the rite phone r i shud wait for gingerbread from android....

you know, this phone is not as big as it looks over here. its small enough to fit in my jeans pocket. well, if you mind the size, try and use it. u'll find urself luvin this phone(with its size of course. the screen is so big and just too good)
