Whenever i plug the USB in, the PC doesn't show anything.Couple times i had a message that there is a unknown device and that the instalation failed because of it. But lately, nothing happens when i plug the USB cable. I installed , uninstalled , reinstalled the newest version of the Kies, but still nothing. Thanks anyway

Humans are weird creatures. People complain about no flash in handphone, but how many people will even think of taking a picture in the dark? Handphone is a form of communication, occasionally acts an entertainment device. I don;t see a problem of not having a flash pose a problem to me

Personally own this handphone for three weeks and I would say this is a tough war between this and Iphone 4. A small improvement in Iphone 4 makes a big deal out of it where people tends to forget this form of technology does exist way long back. How many faults can you name in Iphone 4 and I will cast my vote for Galaxy S

                      ok guys and gals ...

its been 1 week with my galaxy s
                      1 i purchased this phone in 27700/- Rs ( roughly 550$)
2 its a great purchase in this rate ( i couldnt compare it with Iphone 4 as it was and never will be available in my town in India) but even then since i consider my self geek so i would say that samsung is clearly inspired by Iphone design
3 my only grieve is battery life of the phone as the phone is resource hungry
4 I was pleastnly surprised to get video call feature which i thought would not come to android but i am using BSNL 3G and using video call extensively. great work samsung Keep it up
5 I am hopeful that since the overall sales of the set is quite encourging, samssung will give us Froyo by the end of this year.
any question pls write it here

You can use the cable from Nokia (N95) or similair

It works fine but you won't have HD ;-)
The picture on the screen of the Galaxy S is far more briliant.

Pride, 17 Jul 2010Owned this since yesterday as my very first Android phone a... moreI'm using the 16GB version for over three weeks now (in The Netherlands) and I totaly agree with you about the speed.

I think it's the best SMARTphone on the market today (even compared to the new iPhone4)

Flash however is not yet implemented though.
It will be available with the update to Android 2.2 Froyo in the comming months.

Untill I got the Galaxy S I used the Omnia i8910HD and Omnia II a lot, but now they're just laying around ;-)

I think the Galaxy S with Android (2.2) is be the combination for a smartphone and the best you can get for your money.

Btw, on the Vodaphone HSDPA network I have a stand-by time for over a day with a lot of use of internet, push email(+ Gmail), some 20 sms messages, about 30 min. of phone calls and the music player.
