cant connect my phone with Kies or even as mass storage...have reinstalled the Kies but the same problem happened....anyone know what should i do????ß

The phone costed me 29k in chennai. Strongly recommend to buy. Worth each penny tht u shell out. All of a sudden Iphone looks redundant :-)

Ppl,I am from chennai, I bought this phone a week back and have been tweaking around with the gadget.
Pros
1)Screen!! I am madly in love with it
2)Amazing video playback capabilities (support of Divx and Xvid)
3)720p video recording rocks(in natural sunlight though)
4)Fantastic touch sensitivity
5)Lightening fast Processor
Cons
1)User Interface
2)Lack of proper widgets
3)very ok call clarity
4)very ok speakers
5)No flash
6)Only 256 MB RAM usage bcoz of old kernel
7)Basic design (Iphone duplication)
The cons are something tht you can easily live with. The best anderoid phone in the world as on date.

sam, 12 Jul 2010im so excited to have this phone. i have ordered it today a... moreiphone maybe better.. but it is just too pricey. i don't think the features are worth the price. it's like half of what im paying is its name - Apple iPhone.

im so excited to have this phone. i have ordered it today and will be getting it 2-3 days from now. i have been looking for a a perfect phone. my criteria includes: design, features, and affordability. and it all fit my requirements. it is just perfect for me. i have had good experience with samsung phones for years, and i am ready to try this galaxy s.

Hi this is nice, but check out the iphone4 first.
as after the firmware it will be very nice. see:
-Fastest ioS4 on phone on market
-Antenna range boost and full bars
-Radio tuner added

iels2003, 11 Jul 2010I am not new with smart phones and I can confirm that synch... moreThe synchronisation with Kies is really a pain. However I did reinstall Kies and now it works if I connect the phone first to the computer and then start Kies.
Nevertheless, Samsung's customer service is not helpfull at all and they have a lot of room for improvements.
I think this is my 2nd and last mobile phone with the name Samsung.

i have one thing to say about this phone ...BRILLIANT...well done samsung keep these handsets coming ,and if that i9200 is a fake samsung get to work and bring it out for real...and to all those who say this phone sucks its because you do not own one . and to those who say iphone 4 is better dream on i had one for 1 week they are such a boring phone android is going to steam roll the competion to become the worlds number one operating system on a hand held devices . p.s android did not copy apple isheep google aquired android in 2005 long before a iphone was even heard off ...android rulez...
