And BTW,this phone is super super fast. Nothing comes even close. To give you an idea, it renders webpages (with flash) faster than my netbook.

Just take a look at designs pre-iPhone, and post-iPhone. You will definitely notice the trend. Android is a good platform, but give credit where it's due. Samsung Galaxy S, and all Android phones owe iPhone a big chunk of respect for the inspiration.

Feel free to call me a plonker but I'm new to Android.Love the Galaxy S but having problems answering calls when screen is locked.Used to the i8910 Omnia HD system of depressing the lock/unlock key briefly before accepting calls,but in the 3 days I've had the Galaxy S I keep on rejecting the call when I do similar!Any advice out there & am I the only one having this problem?Or is it because I'm using one of the live wallpapers?Cheers.

how can you say this phone is a iphone copy ..it has 3 buttons at the bottom its thinner and runs android..and its better than a iphone4 ...

All samsung has done is replicate the Iphone... moreHTC are nice phones but you only need to compare the specifications of the Desire and others to the Samsung i9000 Galaxy S to see that the Samsung is feature rich compared to the others. I was rooting for the HTC desire first but then I saw the Samsung i9000... only the HTC Evo 4G is better but that is not out in most parts of the world.

Can anyone please confirm that TV out works on this phone with normal Nokia TV out cables? Does it output only video OR video & audio ? How is the audio and video quality on TV?

Disappointed!! All samsung has done is replicate the Iphone 3g on an android OS. It looks exactly the same. Even the icons and the screen layout is same!!! It seems like they are promoting the iphone. With powerful hardware, they should have comeout with a phone that makes it samsung and not remind the user of an iphone. I would go with HTC Desire, Incredible or Evo.
