you forget to note IN RED that this smartphone has NO FLASH!
No dual-led-flash for the 5 MP cam, like on the Samsung S8500 Wave.
This is an absolutely no go!
This should be standard and self-evidently for such a high price android flagship product!
You should warn the user.
The Samsung S8500 Wave is very good, the I9000 Galaxy S without an integrated flash for the cam is very bad!
Conclusion: Don't buy this and wait for something better!
Samsung should notice their fault!

hey guys.. i read some information online and i guess the kernel version of galaxy s which is x.x.29 can only support 256mb.. i guess. that's the amount of RAM it can recognize..
froyo 2.2 which has a kernel of x.x.33 and above fixes the issue based on my readings from forums and what's new with froyo.
if my reading is corect then that means that the galaxy s indeed have 512b onboad and that we need to wait for samsung to release the froyo update to be able to fully utilize (in a sense) the 512mb RAM.

Mac OSX user beware, it would NOT recognise the 8GB/16GB internal storage :'(

i am using samsung omnia hd from last 10 months... to be true after buying this phone i am fan of samsung.. before omnia hd i hav iphone 3g and n97.. i like among three the most omnia hd..
now i am looking to buy a new phone... the most awesome r nokia n8, iphone 4, and galaxy s.... to be honest all three r a revolutionary phone... and to be honest i will buy galaxy s... if u i am not making a good choice.. u suggest me the best among three and why...

Download sysmonitor from the android market and check the available ram on galaxy s

hate to say it but, apart from completely changing the number of icons on the home screens, the application pages look just like an iphone. ;x im not a big fan of iphones myself. xD

same as m3keni mentioned, there's no way to check, the only reliable source is on the specs. but seeing how smooth its running, i guess its safe to say its on 512 lol.

just got it today from singtel, so far the experience has been really good, the screen is definitely top notch compared to all other phones right now. its so customisable and smooth, but i had it skinned white :x

I feel very happy abt the GalaxyS 19000 where I was part testing of the phone. It is sure that the phone will hit the market.
