Galaxy is, at this time, the best phone (on Android and out of Android OS) on Earth. At this time, getting that processing power, with such an incredible SUPER-AMOLED display, with the best Android version alied to TouchWiz, with tons of aplications, with the name SAMSUNG on it. What can you want more? iPhone 4G? By now, away behind.
Yeah, I'm a Samsung fan. And I'm truly proud of Galaxy.
Come to Portugal, I'll buy one and keep him for years!

keep up the good work by wallet-voting your symbian...they'll thank you... I am using symbian now and i must say i am getting a finger gym routine while at it... imagine copying a picture from a website requires 9 taps on the screen... searching for words translation requiring me to use my brain memorizing the word and open another google dictionary and paste and ... Baltimore...you just love doing extra work huh...

but if you buy with a sim card its still unlocked but do a £10 top up and you can get it for 399.95...

... moreof course he's a fanboy, but the main advantage of the gS is 2.1 - sony is not going to give updates till -- ?!? - else the X10 would be the hell of of a great device.
most users could live without multitouch and the display is gorgeous - of course we all now want super-AMOLED - and the design is the most beautiful.
i'd have definately settled with the X10 if sony wouldn't do such a bad job.
can't wait to have my galaxy in my hands .. :-P

I've taken night photos with my old Samsung i900 without flash (the i900 has a flash but it tends to make photos look washed out) and high ISO and they came out OK. Only prob was the camera not focusing well in low light situations, but according to the gsmarena review you can maually focus Galaxy S and the auto focus is very fast.

Reason : This phone was just released today so there's no way you bought it that fast. And can you tell me how did you manage to take a photo at night?

went to the mall having two choices in mind GALAXY S nd XPERIA X10....was pretty much amazed by the GALAXY S SCREEN bt design wise XPERIA X10 was far more superior also the screen resolution looked very good in person bt in pictures it looked not that great....okk now i bought the galaxy s nd made the worst mistake of my..all the money went to dump...reason?? the camera!!OMG u guys won't believe how worse a cam can get....on the other hand disaster!!! NO FLASH:( so forget taking pics at night...its been 2 days i have been playing with this device...great features,great specs bt when i turn on the cam i get dissapointed every time...looked for firmwire updates bt none is available at this moment...Done my research on XPERIA X10 its camera ...superb!! outstanding!!the best android cam phone now on the market,,,feature wise its same as the galaxy s....fast,responsive screen..only downside is android 1.6...bt i heard sony is going to update it in september or somewhere in Q4 to 2.1 or 2.2...i have no prob waiting till Q4...NOW GOIN TO SWAP MY GALAXY S FOR XPERIA x10!! CHEERS :)
