Pro, 28 Mar 2010Firstly, I'm not a Microsoft employee. I'm just a guy that ... morethe problem with winmo 6.5 is that it lags a lot,max color support is 56k,has problems in supporting hd video play back,and for htc HD2 even with the 1GHz cpu it lags and stuck and because it lacks reset button , you have to remove the battery ,other problems with the HD2 can be found by visiting wikipedia.. ;)

By the way I almost forgot... I got a Samsung WM phone. I cholse it because they are the only ones with a front camera and WM!

Firstly, I'm not a Microsoft employee. I'm just a guy that knows something others might like to know. I wonder why Samsung would use Android? The OS is Java based running like a virtual machine. Uses resources 10 times more than Windows Mobile. It would never be able to compare with WM. In time the customers will notice the difference in performance and that OS would be abandoned. I would highly recommend HD2 instead of this. Make a live comparison of these two before you buy one!

I am in love with this phone... I want it so bad. Love the design, especially the plain backing. Wished my tv had All Share on it. Cool phone. I am don't mind not having a flash for the camera.

Jean, 27 Mar 2010I am actually gonna buy the x10 the next week so I won't bu... morethe light sensitivity would do nothing in a completely dark conditions so the led flash is a (flash),yes it is not in the quality of xenon one but it has an advantage in video capturing flash.
and samsung did not give up bada yet,because till now the bada looks very promising ,and for the symbian it is still owned by nokia and nokia still number one in the market and i dont think that samsung will stop supporting symbian.
and regarding the fm radio ,yes you can use sony headsets with built in radio but can not record any song...... ;)

I don't like samsung but this one sounds real nice for a change.. I hope it wont be like the first galaxy which is a little bit sucks..

According to some sites, samsung wants to bring the phone to the masses. So they expect it to below $500 or 23000 INR. If it is true, then think what happened to the other competitors.

Anonymous, 27 Mar 2010poor. so poor. very poor. this has no LED FLASH! very disap... moreI am actually gonna buy the x10 the next week so I won't buy that one because it's gonna take another 2-3 months to release but let me tell you something.
First about that radio(and for the thousand time) YOU CAN BUY A BLUETOOTH HEADSET WITH INTEGRATED FM RADIO IT WILL WORK THE SAME.
second, about the flash. LED flash isn't flash at all. The important in night shots is light sensitivity. SE didn't fool themselves with the X10 the led flash is either on or off(used for framing the picture) it's not actually used as a flash which triggers with the picture because it would be pointless.
This device is wonderful:
- 1GHZ new samsung processor(with 4x better graphic performance than the snapdragon)
- 4" super amoled(nothing to compare with)
- Android(finally samsung woke and gave up on Bada and symbian)
- Touchwiz, though not fantastic, it can be easily modded
I can assure you that within one week of the release you could switch to a modded sensui or timescape/mediascape
The only thing I hold against it is that lame samsung design. When are these people learn to make nice phones.
So why I'm gonna buy the X10? simply because it's too much waiting for this and buy the time it comes out there will be a new and better phone announced and I'll have to wait again. And the X10 have much better looks.
