hello guys , i owned galaxy s i9000 , version 2.2 when i update via kies , it said , your device not supports software ??? why how can i upgrade to 2.3 ?? please some one help me

I've found the battery to be very good. In fact, I get three days on a single charge. Freefaller gets five days on a single charge.
If you're not getting anything like that I'd suggest you investigate the problem further.

I think you should go either with HTC sensation with beats audio or Nokia lumina 800. Even blackberrys which are coming these days reproduce good audio quality. I am using galaxy s from last one year. This cell phone is too good.. But battery life is really very poor..

Hi guys, I am in search for the best music smartphone and after a brief research I have come up with a list of phones. Apparently, Galaxy S seems to be the one having better audio quality of the lot and I am here to ask opinions about the music quality of the phone (Iphone 4s is very costly for my budget of 400$ and personally I am not a fan of apple). I will be using my phone for listening to music mostly than anything else and I do not much care about the camera. Battery life and speed are indeed a concern to me. The list is below. Please tell me your opinions. If there are any audiophiles out here, I will be very grateful to get their opinion. Thank you. :)
HTC:
Wildfire, desire, desire hd, Mozart, desire s, sensational xl, t8788 7 surround.
Samsung:
Galaxy s, s ii, Omnia, focus, galaxy ace,
Sony Ericson:
SE Mix Walkman, w 960, w 860i, xperia x10, xperia ray, wt19a live with Walkman.
Nokia:
Lumia 800, n8, n81 8 gb, n 95, n73.

The benefits of rooting are well known as it enables you to do things with the SGS that unrooted phones cannot. Such as creating a full image backup, blocking in-app adverts, wiping the battery stats file for calibrating the battery and so on.
The downside to rooting is that it makes the phone more susceptible to malware attacks and they can do more damage at the heart of the OS.

The Galaxy S doesn't have it's own FM Transmitter but you can buy a FM Transmitter kit that will work.
