beware!!!
this is the worst phone in the history of mankind. i bought it and all it does is 'hangs, or restarts' very very slow processing. you cannot imagine running heavy apps. only wats app or facebook or lighter ones. most important this phone is a "cheat" yes a big beffooling device because the ram is only 372 mb. now what can you ever expect in 372 ram smart phone???? i lost money. i am infact planning to sue samsung for this extremenly bad & customer cheating device they created. very bad. i will never buy a samsung phone even.

AnonD-78229, 25 Feb 2013Install an app TRIM to make ur device lags freeYou don't need lagfree or any such Apps, just flash CM10 and kernel 3.4.33 and you're good to go. Vsync and native hardware acceleration will eliminate the lag. Gingerbread is crap.

ok , some more suggestions to smoothen our galaxy s plus.
When u have installed Roehsoft ram extension set swappiness to at least 90. This will only use ur sd as a ram so increased performance.
Install pimp my rom. (but after installing a custom rom). Set delvik machin tweak at maximum. enable more tweaks u like.

Ok that is what u have to do.
1st. Root ur mobile
2nd. Install custom rom CM10 beta1 by invendor. (u can google it)
When you have installed custom rom. Go to settings and then performance option, select cpu and set minimum at 365ghz and maximum 1400ghz at ondemand profile.
3rd. Install bravia engine 2 for awsome video quality and pix quality. The link you can find at XDA developers website.install sony walkman music player.
4th. install Roehsoft ram extension app. I have extended my ram upto 1.4gb, and believe me my phone is running like a horse. Lot of apps working at background but no lags. I can play high grafix games
now.
Follow these steps. And u would love ur phone.
