Good phone...just don`t instal to many aplications because the processor is getting very hot and it will restart your phone.
I have a problem with the photo/video camera - it doesn`t work after upgradind to Android 2.3.6. Today I took the phone to service and they say it`s only a coincidence that the camera doesn`t work after the upgrade, that the camera had some problems before...but I don`t think so...

Where can I find custom ROMs for the phone, I want Cyanogen 9 or MUI, and I cant seem to find anything online. Please send me links.
Also are there any sites that have ROMs for the i9001 that are not hosted on hotfile.com (my network cannot download from the site)... thanx in advance

I can't update my galaxy to 2.3.6 official from 2.3.3...There is no update available from samsung kies and manually from the s plus. Does anybody know what is the problem?

Volume up+power, if Samsung appears on the screen leave the power button but keep pressed the volume up button till an android icon appears. When it appears press menu button. Make sure you press menu button not home button Bcuz I was pressing home button at my first and nothing was working. :) if ur mobile can go in recovery mode then ur mobo is alive :)

I have this phone which I only able to use for 4 months! And now it's no longer working. I even asked a mobile technician for it, but he told me that it will never be repaired. I was using it while browsing the net and then it started to turn on and off until it turned off permanently. Can you please help me if you're familiar with this issue on this phone? Thanks a lot. :)

I've neva installed a custom rom before so the method to install is not understandable for me. I couldn't get where to find kernel 3.0.x as mentioned in the method and how to install it.
I've installed Cwm thru recovery but don't know how to do next steps. Can you help me with this?

I have been using this phone since april 2012 and i am really pretty much satisfied with it, sometimes it lags however it play HD VIDEOS ENORMOUSLY, sometimes the size may exceed 500MB yet the video plays well. I need to upgrade my firmware and uninstall few apps then i believe my phone will work even more faster.
If you wanna buy this phone it is absolutely a pretty decent decision as far as i am concern.

this is the best phone and i can bet.try cm10 alpha 7 by ivendor in xda.only1 bug in panaroma.believe me it runs nfs most wanted without lags.its extremely smooth and no lags.performance of s3.try and then tell me the imrovement.pls try,u wil b hapy
