Can anyone who has updated the firmware version to 2.3.6 (Baseband XXKPL / Build No. XXKQG) share his views regarding the performance after the update? Except for a few features like Face Recognition, photo edit and other minor features, I did not notice any marked improvement in performance. In fact my internet connection seems to be intermittent and can not send SMS to multiple recipients in one go. Face recognition does not recognize the face most of the times. Also the phone hanged a couple of times which had never happened with previous version 2.3.4 for 6 months. No additional Apps. were added after the update. Thanks.

i have the galaxy s plus and it is a cool phone so it does`nt have flash on camera so what?! it is worth every penny! flash player is good for web browsing and watching videos,

hey this phone has problem a bought 905 error in playsotre so plzzz i reccand not to take this the problem is if u download any apps it says after 99% 905error will apper am suffering from this problem

Except flash, rest of the facilities are excellent. But you require a flash when we shoot at night without which the smart phone is useless.

I still can't decide between Galaxy S plus and S2. Both are fantastic. What 1 lacks, the other makes up for it.

yes a negative point in galaxy s plus is they did not have flash .......flash play a very imp role in smart phone...flash gives a royal look in smart phone...like samsung wave 2 ,,etcccccc

1. In your router setting change DHCP lease time from forever to 1 or 2 days.
2. In your phone change the wifi advanced settings to use static ip address.
3. Reboot both phone and router.
Now your wifi problem will be resolved.

hi am thinking to buy this one but the only thing that makes step back is the camera...it doesn't have flash. am between this one and the Galaxy W that has flash.
SO PLS ANY SUGGESTIONS FOR THOSE 2 WILL REALLY HELP!!

I love this phone..only problems that i encounterd is the dificulty on sending sms while internet or 3g is on...i have to resend few times till i fedup...hahaha...any suggestion?

Strange but True. Seems Samsung forgot to incorporate zoom while giving it all the advanced features

Just try to turn off any battery saver application installed, I experienced the same.
