AnonD-13788, 22 Feb 2012Another thing to consider is what the internal memory is of... more6 hd games on my phn and about 4 other games. Anyway i dont know about the neos internal memory. Its worth asking an owner of the neo if they can use the hdmi port to play hd games in hd on the tv if u are a gamer. For me i use a tv out lead. Its good but some games are not as playable (like driving games) as u need to see the distance clear. Media is ok though to view in hd if you have a dlna enabled tv. Games can be bought at market and redownloaded which i do, as my sgs cant store all the games i own.

[deleted post]Another thing to consider is what the internal memory is of the Neo. My partner has the xperia arc s, if you look at the specs then you will see that the internal memory is very low on the sony phone compared to the samsung. A lot of HD games will use the internal memory as well (unless you root the phone and install an app from market to put the whole of the games to sd card). Usually whenever you download the extra game data over wifi it will use internal memory, unless u root. I have sgs with about....

anyone asking for what cable to use for s+.. you can use your old Samsung Jet USB data cable and charger to your S+ works just fine... also I tried my old Blackberry Torch 9800 cable and charger it works perfectly... checked the specs its exactly the same....

Im very much interested to buy this phone...due to my nature of work i hav d possibilty of charging only once a day...can i go with this model ??

I need your advice..
I wanted to buy Galaxy R..was unfortunately discontinued from market and no where available...not even online...
Now Im thinking of 2 models..
Sony xperia Neo V and Galaxy S Plus...i can afford both....while im interested much in S Plus for its larger AMOLED display....i m frightened about the comments posted here on it...
Can any1 sincerely tell me whats the battery life of S Plus..i use it an avg of 2hr for 2g calling...2g browsing for 2hrs..with gmail on background...and 1hr for gaming....
Please do coment on Neo V..is it better compared to S Plus in terms of battery and performance
Both of them have 512mb ram and only 320mb odd is user available....

ritu, 20 Feb 2012i bought samsung galaxy s plus 8 days back... but it gets r... more i also had the same problem(restarts automatically)..better give your phone to samsung service center.. re-installing the OS will fix it..
now my phone works fine

I think the correct or real stand-by time is up to 24 hours (2G and data turned off)! Maximum! 480 hours??? NO WAY!

1. )No unless you're willing to play a heavy game, it does heat up(especially the battery) but it won't be significant.
2.) Battery lasts around 8 Hours under normal usage including some gaming
3) Nope, the plastic may look cheap but it doesn't get scratches nor cracks
4) The performance is higher than the N8, the TW3.0 UI is very responsive.
5) Lack of Camera Flash, there isn't much internal storage(4.99GB), no ICS upgrade from Samsung
6) The N8? Nope, just avoid buying that 2-Year old Symbian device

I've been using this for around 3 months now.
1.)For those experiencing random restarts(especially when exiting games), simply flash to Android 2.3.6 using the official I9001XXKPI firmware using Odin.
2.) It also fixes the WiFi issue present in 2.3.3 & 2.3.4

'm having problems with the wi-fi settings........ wifi works for a sec and then it stops working.......then i have to restart wifi again and again................
anyone with an idea to counter this problem may plz leave their idea below.............

Good Phone - whith a good processor.
Problem is with the battery if GPS and location search is on.
Mail is better and faster than balckberry - i have discontinued it.
No spell check on mail is the only problem

siyad, 19 Feb 2012i have same problm. what we can to doDont worry..i have given my phone to samsung service center.they told that's a software problem.and they reinstalled the OS...now its working fine for me.

my galaxy s plus hav som complint.. its automatically restart... one time ringing volume gone to mute... after rest its ok.. in charging condition it has very heat. i lost my 22000 Rs
