main reason that I bought i9001 not i9000 was ICS.And now samsung has released the names of phones that will get ICS with no name of galaxy s plus in it.I'm thinking that why the hell i didn't buy Xperia arc s.

i wanna know is this phone have a conference call? Does it record calls? Are you able to record from the radio? Can it allows you to see appointments on yr walpaper? Is it plastic or metal at the back of the phone? I read somewhere on the net that is not gonna run Android 4. Lack of flash light is not an issue since i own N8 which is monster when comes to camera. Reply if only u r using this phone.

Sans, 19 Dec 2011which one to buy htc incredible s, samsung galaxy i9001, ht... moreHTC Sensation. Unless you *know* that you're going to need every bit of battery life you can get (long trips and similar), battery life is poor in basically all smartphones - the difference between 1 day and 2 days of battery life is not worth caring about much.

Sony Ericsson got their act together a long time ago with the OS updates, you shouldn't worry about that. Consider Xperia Arc. I'm using it at the moment, its excellent except that battery life is poor. Also, their "scratch resistant" glass isn't really very scratch resistant.

Lastly, Galaxy S II is best, period. If you can afford it. But its worth it. Best camera, performance, screen colors (amoled), scratch resistance. Almost no shortcommings at all. Highly recommended.

which one to buy htc incredible s, samsung galaxy i9001, htc sensation. Please help me to figure out?
Incredible s/sensation has good camera,768MB RAM but very poor battery and 9001 has 1.4GHZ processor, comparatively better battery backup but worst camera in the segment also less RAM(512MB). I know both have s/w, hang, restart issues. So, I am totally confused while choosing my first smart phone. I can't go for Sony Ericsson bcos that partnership won't exist for future s/w updates and Motorola is not up to the mark in smart phones. Please suggest which one to choose among these.

Hi everyone, do use the search before posting your question. Most of the question I've read recently have already been answered previously. Regarding the ram, Samsung do give us 512mb of it, however android only allows 358 for us to use in apps, and the remaining 154mb is used to run the OS. and about the storage, in case 8gb is left with 4gb and 16gb is left with 12gb, this is the case of OS and samsung apps installation, they already ate 3++GB for it.

gagan, 17 Dec 2011please do nt buy this phone because its net speed is not good Hi gagan,
The problem is not on the phone, it's the connection. I'm tried this phone on many different type of internet connections and came to the conclusion that if you are using data packet, you have to be sure to be in a very good coverage area for it to be fast. if you are using wifi, do not have the phone blocked behind walls(maximum is 3 layer of walls)

AnonD-30121, 16 Dec 2011Hay Fariq! cud u tell me if it supports adobe flash player?... moreHi mohd asif,
the phone supports flash player, and about the battery, it depends on which connection you are using. if you are using wifi, it can last to 8-9 hours, if you are using data packet, it can goes up to 5-6 hours. i'm saying this if with the assumption that you are wifi/data network non-stop. However do take note that using the data network mode not only consume a lot of battery, it also heats it up. using Battery Indicator(I got it from Market), I achieved 45Celsius after using it for 3 hours non stop.

I'm using Celcom UOX and so far I do not have this problem. The trick is too uncheck the "allow automatic updating" in Market - My Apps.
Once i didn't close my data network, and the automatic update ran, I lost RM62 to it. So you better be careful of the sneaky updates. always check your balance after usage.
