Guys,please test the video recording near the road/highway with passing cars or noisy place.The recorded sound has something like "pshhhhh" noise. I dont know what Samsung did with this phone,but the sound is a CRAP like Samsung Omnia HD aka i8910.
Please test and confirm!

Hi guys.....
3 weeks past and going good with this device....
One thing I have to mention.....
If you are a phone freak then I would suggest you to go for samsung galaxy s I 9000...
Reasons being...
1. Super amoled (i like this when it saves battery compared to sc-lcd)
2.slimer,less weight.
3.16 gb internal memory+2 gb rom (it really hurts with 2gb and when you spend rs.1500 for a sd card:-(.......)
4.lots of custom roms available ( I don't think sl will get custom roms in the near future as only indian user should develop one).and it is most likely to get a 2.3 update(already lots of 2.3 roms available).no talks about the 2.3 update for the indian version.....:-(
5.tv-out
6.better cpu and graphics......
7.time tested and more reliable and better support from co users since it has a lot of users...(i can still remember the number of hits I got in youtube after the first week of it's launch.but we indians dont care to even post a video including me.blame it on our attitude.no one cares about i9003 device internationally.)
8.i would suggest to buy i9000 and use a battery of i9003.yes it is compatible.....
9.and at last you can get a pouch/cover for i9000 in market but nothing for i9003 since it is thicker.....(i tried in vain for 2 days.....:-(.....)
You get all the above mentioned things for 4-5 k extra.....and I think that's worth ( I repent now:-(.......)
Remember this applies only for those who are phone freaks and not a normal user..
And for those who have a tight budget of 20k stop thinking and get this phone(samsung galaxy sl I 9003) before the stock runs out....

SGS2 will be a minimum of 45,000 Rs. The UK release price is around 600 euro (37,600). After taxes and all, in India it will be atleast 45,000. The price will be the same as iPhone 4.
SGS2 Mini, will be around 29,000 Rs.

I got my I9003 from Letsbuy only. I am from Bangalore. I have ordered on Mar 10 and got in hand on 15th. paid 18.4K with ICICI coupon and got a FREE samsung mini portable speaker. The courier (DTDC) was well packed and I was able to track online while in transit. But I do admit that the customer care / service from Letsbuy is not good as I haven't received any Call to varify / ship address or any updates after making the online payment.
Letsbuy is an official online retail partner for Samsung india, you can check this by going to samsung india site and click on 'buy' button, which will automaticaly re-direct to Letsbuy.com
By the way, the phone is really great!

Guys, be careful before buying from LetsBuy.com.
There are many people who have paid the money in full but have not received any phone!!
This is a fraudulent company.
Many of those who are posting here (including Raj) are employees of LetsBuy.com
This company does not have an office anywhere! They only deal by phone, but when you ask where they are located they will not tell. This is very suspicious also.
Better to save your hard-earned money and buy at a shop in your city. Online dealing can be risky, but buying from Letsbuy is a sure loss!

confusion.. i am losing confidence on buying online... i see 4gb, 8gb and 16 gb i9000 below from rate 21500 - 33,000... can you anyone clarify.. why / how there is change in internal memory capacity...? why there is big price difference...??

BB, 24 Mar 2011Hi Yoyo Here as per Lets Buy (Official Samsung Online Re... moreyup, its right. I got my brown-black SL today. The rim is copper brownish colour and the backside body is dark brown(infact almost black). Though the glossy would look more high-endish, good thing about this colour is that the back is matt and dotted, so a gr8 grip and no fingerprints.

[deleted post]Exactly buddy. I m from mumbai. Today i went to a mobile shop and they showed me Galaxy S box too. And in that box it was written Android 2.2 Froyo. Now samsung cant make such mistake on their boxes.
