... morexperia u has a dual core chipset with confirmed ics upgrade, this phone will stay at gingerbread plus the chipset is not that good, only point in its favour is the super clear lcd which is great.
go with xperia u as its more future proof then the galaxy sl.

francis, 27 Aug 2012am using galaxy s i9003..when i got it the internal memory ... more hi.... im satha... this phone totall storage 4GB.. internal sd storage is 2GB ,this memory only can use us... another 2GB is... phone storage we cant acces it because this storage containing system files and OS files.... thats all...

hi.... im using this phone over 7 months.... i was updated gingerbread 2.3.6.. this is working fine.... there r no issues found.. and im waiting for ics update for my lovely phone samsung galaxy sl i9003

hi.... im using samsung galaxy i9003 about 6 months.. i didnt get any issues like ur saying... i have updated ginger bread 2.3.6 lates update and waiting for ics update...... so u can buy and use this device well..

i advice anyone who is going to buy this phone not to waste your money on a crap , there is a big issue on the samsung galaxy phones all of them , the phone keeps formatting itself, and can not restart cuz it hangs on the samsung logo without opening and when you take off the battery and switching it on, it opens, after a while it formats itself and keeps again frozen on this logo of samsung,i never put programs on the mobile like the others ,and very gentle use, and it keeps doing this restarting without any reason :( my mobile got this problem after only 9 months of a very keen use:( my brother also have the same phone i9003 got the same problem after 11 month , i found a consumer who faced that problem after 1 year and replaced that main board and after another 10 months it did the same thing on the new main board :( ,,after searching the Internet we found a loooot of users also got the same problem,, so these samsung galaxy phones sucks :( a very cheap hardware , not reliable so we seriously gonna switch to Iphone and never never to any galaxy phone...
BTW it is a hardware problem of the main board of the phone and not a software absolutly :( the guy at samsung told me that it is gonna need a new board :( ,this main board will cost me the same amount of money to buy a new one so why should i pay twice for a phone , where you can buy a phone that can beat this bad samsung phone....
i think it is a shaming of the samsung to have this big issue in its bad galaxy phones and this big number of these frustrated consumers without even making a replacement of these phones in the market ,,,,,so i will switch to an iphone .... samsung phones sucks :(
so trust me pleeeeze do not waste your money on these samsumg phone and think of some other phones that are well manufactured :)

Very Bad phone. After 6 Months of use, I wake up one morning to find the phone erased all my personal data, contacts, messages & the SD Card.
After that the phone started to close automatically and reset to factory settings if you leave without use for more than half an hour.
I contacted Samsung Service center, they told me it's a Hardware problem, and will need a new Motherboard which costs the price of a new phone.
Many people reported this problem over the Internet for this specific phone model i9003.
I will buy a new phone, but not a Samsung ANYMORE.

Hello...
I'm using this mob since jan12...
it was having battery probs... n hv to b charged 2-3times a day.. but i ignored it..
probs start frm last 4days... my mobile touch is not responding normally.. on right side only.. i formatted it n update to new version by Kies.. but still d same prob...
WHAT I DO? PLS HELP
