It might b broblem n ur device cuz i've use... moreyes Abdo i can tell youm that most if not all of that series of GT i9003 have this issue because of the same supplier of the internal SD memory 4Gb so after a while of use ranging from 9 months to 15 months sure the problem will appear some people have got the problem only after 6 months so i advice you as soon s possible to change your phone you can change it with 19000 which have 8Gb internal SD from different supplier or as i don't trust samsung any more you can get an LG optimus black it is very good in comparison to that samsung with the same price

I also got the same issue on that GT-i9003 phone it keeps restarting and formatting by itself and frozen on the samsung logo....i faced this problem ater 6 months of use and then went to our US Samsung service center i replaced the main board now i got the same issue again... it is a VERY BAD phone .... DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY.....

NO solution is available for that big famous manufacture issue Internal SD corruption in most if not all of the samsung GT-i9003 to return the phone for full functionality except that replacing the main board of the phone which will cost you 200$ and after a while of use you will face the same issue even in the new board because they all have the same malfunctioning internal memory chip as samsung service center said to me here in my country,, so really really it is a very frustrating issue and remains unsolvable, the other options available to you you can apply a rom to the device which will allow you to use the phone ONLY for calls because it keeps the phone only from closing by itself as usual.
associated with this issue :
1-you cann't open the android market.
2-force close of all the applications.
3-all your information that have been stored in the corrupted internal sd card cann;t be removed because the sd card cann't be formatted either by the phone or the computer i have tried all the software systems to try to format it MAC OS , windows, Ubonto no one was able to read it and to format it.
4-camera is not working.
5-the power button of the device only give you one option Shut down.
etc....... so i can say it is a crappy phone that is unreliable EVEN after replacing the main board for 200$ it still have the same issue after a while of use WITH all the customers.... now i have paid about 500$ for that phone and it still have the same issue so you can buy another phone from another respectable company without paying all that amount of money ... many options are available for you but rather than samsung that don't even respect the customers .... here is a link for that issue on youtube by another disappointed customer (it keeps frozen on the logo and drain the battery and formatting by itself deleting all the contacts all the phone logs all the settings and after taking off the battery and restarting it agaian the maximum time i have recorded to stand by before it AUTOMATICALLY formates and shutting down and then restaring and freezing on the logo WAS 5 Minutes)

It might b broblem n ur device cuz i've use... moreThank you abdo Basha :) no the problems mostly appear after 9 months to 1 year of use because of the internal memory we can say become TIRED , trust me BGAD if you can get off this phone soon do it and bye the LG optimus black the same price and function but not to be involved in this samsung which is totally unreliable at any time you may get this issue (BA3D EL SHAR TAB3N) but as an advice you have to get off it

I bought this phone , but experienced the FAMOUS "Internal SD card Unexpectedly Removed" , Search for it online, most i9003 users have faced it.
I Went to Samsung Service Center to fix it, they told me this is a Manufacturing problem and needs a new Mainboard to be fixed, and They will Fix it free, but on my own Cost !!!!!!!!!
They need 200$ for the new mainboard.
I'll not fix it , I'll buy a new LG Optimus L7 for 219$.
BYE BYE Samsung. I'll not buy any Samsung Device anymore.

I have bad experience with this phone.
I bought this phone on July 2011 and after 11 months, there was yellow mark in the display and also phone was not detecting the SIM card. Service center guys said to replace the display and main board. Luckily phone was still under warranty otherwise I would have to spend more than 10K to get it repaired. I have given my phone to repair on Jun 29th 2012 and it is more than 2 months now, still they haven't returned the phone. I am totally disappointed with the Samsung service.

It might b broblem n ur device cuz i've use it for 5 month and there is no such problem,, sometimes it hanging up but thats common ib smart phones...so try to update it to 2.3.6

m using thz phone from past 15 months n never had faced any big issue but sure have some of small issues n the one of the issue amongs that is after upgrading to gingerbread 2.3.6, the battery life z gone to half means whatever backup it was giving in froyo has just reduced to half but the browsing speed got just faster... even now i cannot play 720p hd videos now which previously i was able to play on froyo... just these difference i ve noticed on thz phone but overall a very nice phone... for those who wanna go for thz, i would not advice them coz u will get better than this in same price... htc desire x is upcoming phone which is at same cost n is much better in specs than this... even this phone is out of league now n a bit old y not better u buy new phones with ICS coz this z not goin to get ICS or JB... for those who planning to buy it, better buy htc desire x or samsung galaxy s advance...
