Bought this phone in india at 16500. Aweso
me phone, total worth of money.people say powervr sgx 530 is not good enough but its good enough for any game.an advice please try not to update to 2.3.6,2.3.5 stable.

The phone feels very plastic. And if your using GPS, your battery lasts for about 5 hours.
Other than that, the phone works beautifully. Totally worth the money spent!

after reading many reviews...i ordered this mobile on flipkart for 17840 rs (free sandisk 8gb micro sd card)

i find that after the update from froyo to 2.3.6
1)the nature of menu which used to bounce on reaching the end no longer occurs
2) wifi connectivity has become an issue it does not connect easily
3) no other changes i dont feel improved perfomanace or battery life
everything is the same
so y update
can i revert back to froyo which was much more stable
from 2.3.6 without rooting
and can i get back the bouncing nature of menu back?

Hi users,
Is task killer appln necessary for android phone?
Logically an appln running in backround is killed by task killer, the same appln automatically starts after few seconds/minutes. As a result the power consumption will be at the higher side. If i am wrong, which is the best application for 'task killer'?
l tried different task killer applns but there was no use in power saving.
Is there any technical clarificaion/ suggestion for my doubt?

Haseeb, 20 Feb 2012How I can upgrade my s1 software into 2.3 tell me plzzz1. connect pc to internet.
2.Connect mobile to pc in pc suit mode.
3.Open Samsung kies.
4.click update(enabled only if update available for your model) and follow steps suggest by kies.
Just today kies provided one more update in 2.3.7
This is how officially any samsung android mobile can be Upgraded. :)
