Hws the battery life?

I have been using this phone for almost 6 months now. From last week when ever i connect my phone thru USB cable my menu icon's in the phone gets shuffled...and it also happens at times when i restart my phone.
can any body please help..

My i9003 has the same battery issue also.. Last 3 months i noticed that my phone is getting extremely hot near the speaker.. And the battery just drains up like hell. A full charge will only last 4-5 hours. Then after sending it to the samsung service center. They yell me its the problem with the main board. They had it replaced n with an upgrade to 2.3.5 gbread its alot smoother then b4. Google Android should make an exit option button for apps so it wont stick on to RAM..

Why did my computer ask for a software driver of my galaxy sl? I don't know what happened..it just keep on saying they found a new hardware everytime I connect my galaxy sl to my computer? Pls help...thank you!

Im using this phone right now, but i cant see any problems.. and if there is, you have warranty certificate rigth.. just go and take a new one.. also the internet is working fine.. NO COMPLAIN AT ALL..

Well my phone died again silently today. But i noticed that the back was a little bit hotter so i checked it out a little closer and i found out that the speaker was giving a hissing/static sound but none of the buttons or the screen work. To be honest i was a little bit scared.
The phone reboots after pressing the power button for about 8 seconds.
Anyway im going to update my phone to office 2.3 gingerbread . i hope the problem is fixed.

The battery lasts for a day with moderate use and i have to charge it everynight, which is fine. But sometime through the night while charging the phone always turns itself off silently. i miss all emergency and important calls every morning.so this phone is useless as a phone. I made a very bad choice. my first Samsung phone. and. last. too.

Had been literally frustrated with this problem for the last 2 months & finally gave it to the service center for motherboard replacement. Replace the mobo if you are under warranty.

yersterday i upgrated my galaxy sl(ver 2.2 - 2.3/gingerbread)so now i feel my skype improve lot,notification bar changed,speed up,battery improved...

downloard the total 3 files/run exe file/phone turn on DOWNLOARDING mode/connect to the pc by usb cable/after yellow tab show/add downloard file PDA/then start/take 3-5 min - finish
