when i try to update firmware through kies it says "the phone doesnot support firmware upgrading through kies"..i dont whts the problem..i hv installed the latest kie software..please help

has any1 noticed....dat after upgrade to gingerbread phone's battery is draining very fast.....battery backup in froyo was gud

I connected the phone to my laptop which has the latest version of Kies and it immediately gave a firmware upgrade. Now i running the GB 2.3.5 on my SL I9003. Please make sure u upgrade the kies software first or else it will not show you the new firmware update

Has anyone of you tried charging this phone using the USB connecting to PC/ laptop?
it will take more than 5 hours to charge :-( unlike the fast charger it will take not less than 4 hours & 30 minutes. My recommendation is better charge it in the fastcharger rather than in USB connecting to PC/ laptop.

Hi Intan ,
Go to Msg's then press menu key(left most key) you will get "Settings" icon. Click on that,scroll down then last option is "Select Ringtone". Then u can select any of the msg tone.

Yes we will get Icecream update till March"12. right now its available in Beta form only and the bugs are not fixed. So just wait till March.

Hello Sl guys , now new update "Gingerbread 2.3.6" is available on the net. I tried that and there is no issue at all.Its working perfect.

deva, 27 Nov 2011i just wasted my money by buying samsung sl , the fon used ... moreAgreed. I have a similar problem also. I'm currently on Froyo 2.2 and planning to update it to Gingerbread 2.3.5. Hope it would fix this.
