I am not able to update my phone from fryoyo to GB neither through Kies, nor through Over the Air...any help

Is the video calling through service provide and skype working after upgrading to GB 2.3.5??
Plzz guys let me know asap to take decision to buy a phone.

n while down loading application or data net disconnect or not.
like samsung wave 525 if we download anything from net 10mb or more mb then net stops automatic after display is off.

Try to change Galaxy S.

Upgraded to GB last week... now battery last for two days with moderate usage and available on online whole day...
Restore factory setting first and install GB.. not facing any issue its smmoth fast.. now able to play all 720p hd videos from youtube..

Hi all,
I brought this mobile before 20 days... its my first samsung smart phone. previously i was using Nokia.
This phone seems to be too good, other than some minor issues like short battery life.
But i could able to increase it by killing some of the applications running at the back like facebook, maps.
Now it is giving me a day of life, with full time music and some calls in between.
Yesterday i moved from Fryo to GB. I couldnt see or feel any difference in the same.
Still lot more to explore in the same.
It will be great if anyone can tell me what is the difference between those two versions?

Just upgraded to GB this afternoon using Samsung Keis and everything works fine. The map gps location is now accurate. Wifi connection works fine without any disconnection. Noticed that skype video calling is still not working. only voice call is ok.

also lemme know if this prob also happens to occur in ur handset,, that wenever u try to apply spcl ringtones to some contacts , phn reports force close?

sometimes the phn doesnt responce on power key or centre key n display doesnt come at all... all I have to do is to take out the battery n restart the phn... can u lemme knwo the cause of this??
