Gingerbread 2.3.5 is just fine for my SC LCD,no lags,smooth interface,quick gps locking,no prob and quick connecting on WIFI and internet,the same battery back up as froyo then,all in all,i can assessed it,base on my own experienced,that updating my firmware to GB is the way i want my phone to be,zero lags and quick browsing,etc:)

ck, 21 Nov 2011Anybody experience wifi kept trying turn off but won't and ... moreHi Guys this post is for all who are experiencing problem with WiFi after GB Update.
To resolve this WiFi issue, just disable DHCP in your router Settings and assign STATIC IP ADDRESS to your mobile.
If anybody have issues I am ready to help.
Now WiFi issue also fixed guys with Static IP address.

i9003 user, 20 Nov 2011for those who upgraded their i9003 to 2.3.5 GB that have la... moreThey(Samsung guys)updated my phone's firmware to GB v2.3.5 this afternoon,i downloaded all the applications that have been deleted(21 apps to be exact),some calls and texting,still the battery is up to 35% up to this time(12:03am),and no lags at all.

Just updated my firmware to GINGERBREAD v2.3.5 at SM Megamall,Cyberzone,just bring with you your receipt,after 1 hour of waiting,Presto!Quadrant Standard gives me a score of 1150,passing Droid X!Just don't go to Samsung SM Manila,st#@$%d personnel,they don't know that Samsung Philippines tap them to provide updating of our firmware,anyway thank you Samsung Techs at Mega:)

Shan, 20 Nov 2011Hi Jeetu... I was facing the same issue after the GB upgrad... moreI tried Hard Reset but no use, problem still persists.
I was using 8gb memory card, I removed it and after that the problem has not appeared for 2 days. lets see how it works.

Anybody experience wifi kept trying turn off but won't and end of draining my battery for the whole night. I have to reset or turnoff my phone to fix the problem. I think it's the new sleep policy for wifi setting. I try to have it on for wifi goes to sleep when screen if off. Who's having this problem?
