kies has send 2.3.6, xxkpq in india. i updated dis successfuly today via kies.. its wrkng fine.

for those who upgraded their i9003 to 2.3.5 GB that have lag issues like i had a while ago. Just reboot your phone 2-3x. Lag will be experienced, because the phone is adapting to its new firmware(that's what i think). After the reboots, my phone is faster than before, than with froyo.

I hav a q btw,abt the internal mem space being 4gb..wic reduces to 1.5gb doesnt suffice for heavy game installations(gameloft ones)...hw can i install a game on my external sd ??

so far no problem on my wifi since i upgraded to GB it runs smooth and on SWYPE i didnt use that feature often :)so far all runs smooth on my phone and runs fast now compare to FROYO and speed on browsing is run fast now :)

I tried to flash 2.3.5 (GINGERBREAD XXKPN) 3 times and the problem still persist. Especially the wifi it sucks. You can't also use SWYPE properly in this update.>.< I hope Cyanogen will make a custom ROM for Galaxy SL.

I upgraded to official gingerbread 2.3.5 in India thru kies. The problem is when an action requires u to keep your finger on screen for say more than 5 to 10 sec the software assumes that u lifted finger while u are still holding on the screen. It shows up in many actions like unable to accelerate continuously in a racing game or using delete key to delete a long sentence

my mobo task killer is disable from start-up and when i open it will always close. do i need MOBO TASK KILLER on GB? Thanks Da for some info about GB for now i enjoy the latest version :)

Well the latest version for Philippines is DXKP9. It's the Asian Gingerbread update. I tried updating it via KIES and it was successful without any data loss. The only thing is that the performance is not so great(maybe because of the tons of apps installed on my phone :P) and when you use SWYPE for texting the trace will just stop working and you'll end up beginning to trace other letters. Also the wifi is barely working. It'll get disconnected let's say after 20-30 secs from the time you were connected to the internet. It sucks! Guess I'll go to Samsung Service Center to fix this. I downgraded it to other version to have a stable WIFI connection.(FROYODDKB2)I hope they will REALLY release a bug free Gingerbread for the Philippines.
