This phone is quite gud...its running on gb 2.3.5.n ice cream update will be available soon....bt its nt official update.beta version..it is quite stable...

Hey guies please help me.!!!!
I have flashed my Samsung SL already 2 times.And the performance is the same, but when I enter some sites like www.vipoferta.com (Bulgarian site), by the Wi-Fi it goes off and nothing happens.What could be the problem?Do I have to reinstall the hall phone?Is there a programm that can help my phone.Please somebody help me.Peace.

Just upgraded to Gingerbread 2.3.5(India)
Totally disapointed as I see that there are no major changes at all.It just looks and acts like my earlier FROYO !!
Guys please tell me why the hell, video chat is not there ??

finally updated yo gingerbread(indian version) but i ll hv to say im pretty much disappointed as there are no big changes...but the worst part is vhe video chat is still not available through google talk or google+ ...shame on samsung...

Finally official gingerbread installed .in india it is available through likability performance and goof battery life

???People who finally updated to 2.3, could you please tell us which country you are living in???
I live in Turkey, no update to 2.3 over KIES so far.
Android wiki says:
"Latest stable release 2.3.7 (Gingerbread) / 25 July 2011; 3 months ago"

So it is clear why top notch devices like Samsung Galaxy S II still gets a Gingerbread but not a Honeycomb 3.2 or Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.
Honeycomb and IceCreamSandwich are not official yet.

dimebag08, 08 Nov 2011how long is the initial/first charging of battery for samsu... morethe battery itself is Lithium Ion... So there is no need for initial charging for this. usually, battery charging of I9003 is more than 4 hours.
This is not like the old phones that you need to have it initial charging... e.g. NiCad batteries...
