hey when i connect cable to my galaxy sl it is not detected by the computer. i have seen all setting. sometimes it gets connected but max time it doesnt. any one know what might be the problem. i have froyo 2.2.1

been reading the last 10pages of this discussion, more than 70% are talking and looking for update to gingerbread. update via kies is not yet available to all, if you're such in a hurry, try to update it yourself, there is an official release of GB for i9003.

hmmm, i got my 9003 on normal usage for 1.5days, standby last 2.5

You can try following steps to enhance the battery life.
1. adjust the screen brightness to nil which gives you enough brightness you need.
2. go to setting ACCOUNT AND SYNC and untick BACKROUND DATA ( tick again when you need it like when you open up your adroid market or checking your email account from yahoo )
3. Install JUICE DEFENDER, Battery defender and 2X battery. (It is better to install more than 1 batter saver).
4. Goto Settings- Location and security Untick GPS & Use wireless networks.
