Your mobile is 400mhz and medium ram, nothing much to consume battery. When you take any Android device all are powerhouse, 1Ghz Processor, 1Gb RAM, 4" Screen and the list continues.. Choose which screen you like, everyone have their own opinion. I'm using Samsung Galaxy Spica for more than 1.5 years, didn't face any problem after dropping down many times (I'ld say luck) for me battery comes with 24hrs, I'm optimizing battery that much.
All depends on your choice.

hey frnds today i m here to present two tips for samsung galaxy sl...
1... how to take a screenshot???
soln. just hold the back key and then press the hold button....
2... how to reduce or increase the screen brightness without any widget (shortcut method).???
soln. just keep holding the notification area (top portion of the screen) on the left to decrease the brightness or on the right to increse it....
hope this wud be helpfull for everyone...

I own this smartphone! Yes, I'm proud I own this one coz I love it!
Yes, battery life is one problem here. But it will not be a problem if you know how to use it properly. Longer battery, I install Juicedefender. Turn off wifi and close all apps if not in use. Dont use live wallpapers. Learn to adjust the brightness. Use the Task Manager to clear memory.
I was able to have a battery life of 2 days. Minimum of 1 day & maximum of 2 days.

Tap the Edit. You will see the Home Screens depending on how many Home Screens you make.
Prolong the Home Screen & drag where you want it to arrange.

Got my Galaxy SL today in replacement of Xperia Mini which was defective.
SL is really nice & stylish phone.
Wanna know how the default home screen could be changed to any other.
For eg. from Home screen 1 to Home screen 4.

Lenandes, 26 Oct 2011Does anyone here know how to upgrade froyo 2.2 to 2.3 ?this... moreI have the i9003 since 3 weeks, amazing phone, perfect design and wight and incredible performance specially the SL screen..thereonly one small problem with this phone which is google maps does not support voice guidence here in middle east and some european contries..but this problem can be solved by installing other known applications like sygic or IGO.. the battery is not bad and not perfect.. It won't survive more than one day in 3G connection... but all in all the phone is amazing

I am not commenting on the looks of NEo V ,cause it's more of a perception.
But I should point out something
1.CPU - Both got a 1Ghz processor.And to your info Qualcomm processor due to it's pipelining and instruction set optimization ,got an upper edge of 5 to 8% throughput compared to the Snapdragon processor even though both are having A8 ARM instruction set.
2.GPU - Anydy Adreno 205 beats PowerVX 530 (Pl check the http://smartphonebenchmarks.com )
