AnonD-26389, 22 Oct 2011Guys, i have readout,about audio prob n this handset,that a... moreIm using this device for 3 months,the only drawback is battery up(android phone),that is understandable like all laptops..And main drawback up to this date(i think only in Asia)there is no official release of GINGERBREAD,sad:-(,unlike much cheaper brothers GALAXY ACE & FIT,and the new GALAXY Y who is sporting GB out of the box...SAMSUNG PLEASE GIVE THIS SUPER LCD WHAT IS DUE FOR HIM,WE(CONSUMERS) ARE WAITING FOR A LONG TIME.

Guys, i have readout,about audio prob n this handset,that audio quality s v poor.audio vol through speaker s very low.how you will deal with it.besides other problems like low interal memory n poor battery backup;

Most of the posts that im reading are complaining about battery life here's my tips:
1. Don't use your phone too much for games(Main Function is for communication) and close some application by using "TaskManager" as this will consume so much of the battery, as some of the application will be read by the RAM and will consume battery life.
2. Turn off 3G and Wifi if your not using
3. reduce brightness of the screen as this will drain 3% - 5% of the battery life(Use bright screen only if your in a dark room or by night.Except if you have an eyesight problem..;->)
4. Avoid using Live wallpapers(Though the screen of your phone is off, the wallpaper is still running and draining power)
5.Terminate unnecessary application as this will add on the phone's battery life consumption
(Battery consumption depends by situation: like if you want to take some pictures or video on some place and people)
Been doing this for more than two weeks now and works awesome. my estimated battery life on my phone is 24Hours+
So far, best phone i ever had. I'll be trying to get some other brands. Take note: SOME other brand

hi everyone. im still confuse which headset i will buy? can u tell me which is better? a Nokia 701 or i rather choose Samsung Galaxy? i want to know why because, i will buy headset by next week. Hope you'll can help me with my problem. Thanks a lot in advance.

both galaxy s i9000 and sl i9003 are almost nearer in hardware specification.
The only difference is their internal memory,RAM,Screen,Android OS
Galaxy sl gingerbread is in final testing phase for asian region.

omnia w is windows mobile but it doesnt have slot card =/
while gs and gsl confusion =/

Friends.I like this phone very much, but I don't understnad do I have to install ChainFire 3d and the plugin for nvidia just to play HD games like T-Racer HD.I want to play 9mm HD, but I can't find a normal apk for Samsung SL that is running.
Yesterday I installed Dungeon Hunter 2 HD, but I had no time to download the files, but the last time I did it did't run.There was the video but when it finishes the phone goes back to the main menu.I am very unsetisfied.What I have to do to play these HD games.Is there an upgrade or special apks with games for Samsung SL or I have to download HD games for Samsung S?

Just bought this i9003 yesterday,same said that the battery back up was low,hmp!i charged it full yesterday,after using it for web browser,some txt and call,played my raging thunder,got some applications in android market,still up to now,i got 45 percent on my battery:)I bought my unit at Samsung Store,SM Mega.

is there any available OS upgrade from 2.2 to 2.3 for this phone? have been using this phone for a month right now. although battery life isnt that good especially when you have lots of applications installed using juice defender save only a much as roughly around 20-50%. And by the way could anyone provide me a choice of hd games available also like the ones in gameloft although not for free hehe
