I've had one of these and it dead after 3 months of use with a problem in the logical board. I will never buy anything off from Samsung anymore!!!

not only the screen both have different 1Ghz Processer... i9003 has "PowerVR SGX530 GPU, TI OMAP 3630 chipset" while i9000 has "PowerVR SGX540 GPU, Hummingbird chipset"
also the weight and what i love most is the custom ROMs i9000 has like millions of custom ROM but i9003 so far only few
but in the end it's up to you man

hi i9003 guys...
let me explain about this model... the phone is awesome
demerits:
1. battery back up not upto the mark... max(12 hrs)
2. no flash camera..
3. cant change next song via head set.. (main drawback)
4. before connect internet via ur mobile.. make sure that ur mobile setting has synchronice option enable.. plz change to disable and then connect. otherwise ur mobile will receive unwanted contacts from internet..
Merits:
1. Touch sensitive fabulous..
2. Net Speed fantastic.
3. camera clarity superb
4. video & audio clarity with 5.1 speaker ear back
head set ultimate...
5. android market appln no words to explain.. very very useful...

bon, 07 Oct 2011user manual for GB is already given there in samsung offici... moresamsung has released official GB 2.3.4 russian in august thats available in kies only for europe...but none for other areas..if u want GB u can install through odin by flashing at ur own risk
recently samsung italy website posted that GB for SL will be delayed and will be updated to 2.3.5 by november

its a good phone. but the sound is very low. can any one tell me how to increase the sound . i have set it to 14level but still its very poor.

AnonD-19532, 07 Oct 2011plz could anyone help me is there is software update for my... moredepends on where you are located. europe already has gingerbread 2.3.4 but asia is still using froyo 2.2.1. you can flash europe gingerbread if you like but that would be at your own risk. i have gb 2.3.4 on my phone

If anyone is planning to buy this phone, make sure you restart the phone from the shop itself; or you might be surprised with a special gift from samsung!!!!! From the day I bought this phone (only two weeks ago I bought it), I am having problem with it. It is true that they service the phone for free. But who is gonna pay for your valuable time. Hope they come up with some home delivery after the service.
